Packed weekend
My weekend started early. I saw DJ shadow on Wednesday, then went to Octoberfest on Saturday, followed by shopping and a 3 mile run (I decided against running 6 like Dan and his roommate did), and an interview this morning.
I really enjoyed living with the Jill, Thomas and Dan for those few days. I also made sure to bring up the whole me moving in thing and Jill said that she and Thomas were looking forward to it and kept their fingers crossed on this interview.
The interview went soso. I think I had 3 of them in the bag, especially Kevin, who I'd be working very closely with. However, Stefal, seemed bored during part of the interview. I kept trying to ask him some question, but the others chimed in instead.
Kevin seemed cool, though; Canadian and apparently a drummer. I'm trying to think of what to put in the thank you letters. For him, mentioning something about seattle's music community, thanking Kristen for pushing my resume through, Lisa for taking time to call me, perhaps something about her gingerbread house business... but I don't know what to stay to Stefal. I should acknowledge all jobs have mundane aspects to them, but you find excitement where you can, especially if you like the crew you're working with (the office had 15 employees, seemed very tight). I dunno.
Um, yeah. It seemed weird to come home to Portland... well, "home" since home is really where my heart is.
