more than you know
ahh! the awesome!
so, on wednesday, after LNM's awesome musical progress, I headed to the house for some chillin and ride moochin. i honestly don't remember what we did, it feels like ages ago. anywho, we woke up the next day and headed to the awesome that is CON!
we found people quickly, and it was almost as if we had never left CON. it just feels... right. this year I didn't go to any panels or anything, mostly just the fiending. I DID get a new replacement katana at some point in time between all the booze, drugs, sex, raving, sleeplessness, and all the pushing your body to the max that comes with CON.
some memorable happenings of this year: the vodka/tequila gun, the firefly/dollhouse/hocus pocus cosplay groups, alcoholic whipped cream, the rave set a new record by being open til 6:30am, (beating even the cow asylum) sean's boob poking adventure, the evil muffin, meeting Matt G- a comedy sports dude that evidently troy and vanasse both know, and of course all the standard drunken sexy debauchery that comes with CON by default. amazing and stupendous, and I expected nothing less. :D
on sunday, we schlepped back to the house quite lazily, and caught up on the fukkin ENGINEER UPDATE. I went home just long enough to go to a bonfire at adam jensen's place with the bandians and chill for a while, then had to sleep to get ready for karina's beach thing on monday!
we got there and I met the peoples- we lounged, drank a little, went swimming, etc- then the rain started. we ignored it and enjoyed the extra beach space. :D we played some volleyball and swam in the raindroppy lake like true awesome folk. afterwards, we went back to karinas place to hang more, watch some movies and order chinese. eventually, people left one by one, until it was just me and karina- we started to watch another movie, but she was really tired and wanted to go to sleep, so I headed out as well. so- the verdict is that her and her friends are awesome people, and I have plans to hang with them some more later, but this certainly wasn't a date and karina herself didn't seem too terribly interested. alas.
instead, I went to amy's new place and chilled there, watching ANOTHER movie and hangin with her kitty and roommate. the next day, we helped their landlord spiffy up the place, and took a walk to nicollet island for some more awesome, before heading to a park for drinking/soccer/frisbee/awesome. then we went back and christine cooked us all some awesome salsa pasta stuff and we hung out eeeven more.
then, back to TODAY, i came back home in time to catch up on the engie update some more, and actually play a little tf2- not to mention fail to get a golden wrench (yes, its still at 80/100. will i get one? no.) and then head out to LNM. we are now officially in Zombie Musical Crunch Time, wherein we will meet at least 5 times a week to hardcore memorize our lines, songs, and blocking. we've heard all the songs now, and I can tell ya- its gonna ROCK. you can't afford NOT to see it! my life rules.
One Year ago in CON: the one with the thriller and the handcuffs and the deep anal guy and the random badging and stuff. also- some random drinkin, bonfires, trine (not THAT, not yet.) Arkham Horror, katia and vanasse were greeted with the completed viva sweet apologies. the awesome was only tarnished by the fact that my departure from the house was imminent. whatever will i do? :D
