You're a loose cannon sandvich, but you're a damn good cop!
i suppose i should update this sukkah before i forget everything that happened in mexico. so... that.
it went pretty awesomely- we met up with mikonica and laurdan pretty quick and hung with them a great deal, enjoying the 6 bars from the time we woke up. especially the pool bar, even though it foolishly closed at 6. festivities overview: snorkeling and boogie boarding in the ocean, walking to playa del carmen on the beach, climbing on the roofs and into waterfalls of the resort, going to the fancy restaurants and ordering fancy martinis and such, smokin a cuban cigar, hunting sereques, the customary coconut feast, and doin some hardcore mexican relaxing.
the highlight had to be partying with some french canadians after the last bar closed- they had ordered 17 shots of tequila and bought a bottle off the bartender before it closed, and we continued to keep the party going for another couple hours. can't beat having tequila poured into your mouth by people who can only barely speak your language. twas a great time!
if i had to choose a lowlight, twas that 4/6 of our group were reuniting long distance couples, so they understandably wanted a lot of alone time- leaving me and dan to be awesome by ourselves. tsall good though.
back here in the US, kevin came over and hung for a bit- i now have every weapon in tf2 (again) (just wait until the engie update) and am back down to 3 achievements left. sooooon.
LNM is still rockin the musical, and we went out to The Townhouse after rehearsal (at berko's new place, by the way) which turned out to be a GLBT bar- twas pretty entertaining, actually. plus, they actually have a Men's Night- something i've wanted ever since our traditional wednesdays at Sally's back in the day. something tells me that it would be a little less than i imagined it would be, seeing as it's at a gay bar, but IT EXISTS. one more check off my list of things i wanna see.
i crashed at berkos, then randomly ran into ma bro walkin sheba, so i hung with him and played a little Red Dead Redemption before heading home. times be good.
One Year ago in LJ: karaoke with the singers at sporties this time, lief's going away party with patron and mezcal, there was a sailboat trip, and amy's birthday fishbowls. (and i was 14 achievements away in my tf2ing BACK THEN. back when they only had 245, not 326 like us cool members of the present.)
heh, also: "welcomed katie into the house by taking her on an epic adventure all over campus- we tried to get some red bull at like 7 different places, went to the have fun wall and the trains, climbed on top of annie's, and stole some letters." wooo! this needs to happen again- its been too long since i've had an adventure on campus. YA HEAR? :D
