A vacation to right here.
like i said in das post prior, the parentals went on vacation for a week, so i made my own vacation for a week.
on wednesday, my parents left and dan came- we wasted no time in annexing the living room TV of awesome and bachelorizing it. also, I got into the starcraft 2 beta. we played that for several hours. then a couple more hours. SO AWESOME.
thursday, after more SC2, the bandians came over for a mini-shindig with some boozin and SC2 and gloating about our wow characters. all that good stuff. then me and dan played more SC2.
on friday, my brother came over and chilled for a while, and insisted that we get New Super Mario Bros Wii, which is also quite awesome, and a nice foil for SC2. kevin came over and enjoyed the SC2-related festivities, then we went to kara's for the moustache party. twas very much awesome, and filled with beatles rockband, me winning best moustache with my Molestache, ice throwing, fort building, and lots of rocking out to awesome music with the part9yers. also, talk of SC2 lured jesse out of going back houseward, and he instead came here to be awesome with us. we SC2'd until like 5.
saturday was filled with a gamefest- me, dan, jesse, and a little kevin played SC2 and mario all day long. ordering pizza and putting more chairs in the living room, perfecting the bachelorpad look. we ended up beating mario proper and started scrounging up the leftover coins, as we also played SC2 until like 6.
sunday morn was more of the same video gamey awesomeness, but then jesse and dan had to go back to campus to get ready for a job fair, so i instead hung out with kevin and his awesome roomie adelle- watched a movie and froliced for a bit.
On monday, i woke up entirely too early and went over to kevin's, wherein pancakes were made for us. (as part of the devious plot to make me go to the job fair.) so we did that, meeting up with Dan and kevin's friend Sarah, and hanging out more. then, we decided to take advantage of our fancy dressed-upness and eat somewhere suitably fancy. Hell's Kitchen was sufficient, and delicious. i mean, you cant go wrong with a BBQ Bacon Bison Burger. so manly! afterwards, kevin headed back to CR, and we went to the House to be awesome some more. we hung with them, were awesome, and watched some badass olympic curling. i went straight from there to LNM, wherein we discussed the badass a cappella musical we're writing for the Fringe Festival. its gonna RULE! then, we headed back to the house to frolic more. i ended up cuddling with katie and chatting long into the night, and it was awesome- the world needs more deep conversations.
today, me and dan chilled at the house and watched some more curling before it was time for dan to leave, so i went back to CR and stole kevin again for a little more SC2 and Mario before dan left, then hung with kevin a little more before he left for the duluth as well.
so ends my self-made vacation of awesome, and now its time to put everything in this house back where it technically goes before my parents get back. its gonna be traumatic leaving this 1080p 42" TV for my puny dual 22"&17". anywho, off to make dinnah for myself!
oh, and by the way, in Starcraft 2, my 2v2 record WAS as high as Bronze 11th, but with disconnects, letting others play, and the like it was taken down to 30th. my 1v1 record currently sits at Gold 7th, because i am a rockstar.
