The book series 'A Song of Fire and Ice' by George R. R. Martin is being made into a TV series. Normally I would be scared, but I am actually looking foreward to this. HBO is the ones doing it with Martin having a very active role. They are going to start production in October. The Show will be called A Game of Thrones after the first book. Also it looks like a budget equal or more than for the HBO show Rome. The 1st book will be season one and so forth so they are looking at giving each book enough time to tell properly (10+ or so 1 hour episodes means 10+ hours for the book to be told)
