The best song title ever! (See what I'm listening to below)

Hey y'all,

Just wanted to update how things are progressing over here.

First off I want to put up the link to my pictures again since it was very difficult finding the link in my last post about them. So go here for the link.

Last week I joined Facebook (against my better judgment)which has been an interesting experience so far. I joined because I was talking with my friend and he showed me some pics of his buddies back home, and I couldn't reciprocate as I have a lot of Korea friend pictures but very few of you guys. I think I had a bunch on Nancy's old computer but I don't know if they still exist. I joined in the hope that you guys would put up lots of fun pictures to look at, and most of you have. Although I still feel like I should have more of you guys.
So here is your mission. Either post or email me a fun picture of yourself so I can have one and probably feel homesick while I'm at it :) If they include me or anyone else I know all the better.

I have had a few people I don't know or knew only a little bit many years ago try and add me as friends. Maybe my definition of a friend is different than most peoples, or maybe I just don't have the social networking spirit. It just seems shallow to me to just add people to your "friends" list to puff up the number of people you have on it. Although if you want to actually talk to them and become actual friends, then all the power to you.
Anyways, enjoy fulfilling your voyeuristic tendencies and stalking acquaintances and complete strangers.

Last friday one of my best friends over here, (Chad) was fired from my work. He was enjoying Korea the least of all my friends, but he still wanted to stay to pay off his debts. He resigned a few weeks ago due to the stuff I've been talking about in my other posts. The manager told him that the letter wasn't shown to the president of the school so he could take it back. He also said he wanted Chad to stay and that a lot of the problems would be fixed. Chad then reconsidered and took back the resignation. He went back to work and had no problems until this Friday when he was fired. It looks like the manager lied about not showing the letter to the president and it was decided that the resignation would be accepted after all. Due to the way the contract was worded, they were entitled to withholding the whole of his last pay cheque which meant that he worked the whole month of January for free. They waited to get rid of him until the last Friday of the month so they could get an extra 2 weeks of free work out of him. He flew home that very weekend too pissed off to actually work the few extra days until the replacement was ready. I don't blame him at all and would probably do the same myself. This latest action has made me very happy that I decided to leave already. It was bad enough when they were just shitty management, but now they are sneaky underhanded management who make shitty business decisions on top of it. Out of the 5 of us remaining kinder teachers 2 are leaving in the next two weeks and then I'll leave at the end of February with the other two close behind. The people I work with are all such awesome people, and I hate the idea of having to go somewhere else. Fucking school.
