Today was my last day at my internship at my local newspaper; I was going to quit on the last day of summer, but my mother moved the day back twice. The first time, to tomorrow, was because she wanted the last week allotted as a "vacation week", and as a way of giving us time to prepare for college. I have a different approach to adding friends(I typically check someone's journal, often after they add me, or recall my experiences with that person, and add them if I so desire), but I understand your approach.

I don't think I've necessarily been "discriminated against", even though PrairieSquid occasionally makes fun of me(I consider discrimination to be used for more serious instances, such as being denied a job because I'm autistic). I, while not approving of pedophilia, having heard no evidence to suggest that it is harmless(but then again, I believe that there is a difference between thoughts and actions, and that thoughts do nothing if they remain thoughts), am put off by the people who form lynch mobs when pedophilia comes up(George Ford is the worst offender*), and their "Crucible" scale hysteria over merely discussing it.

By the way, I think that you should get a different livejournal name, such as "vidaloca_ex-sf"** "vidaloca_ex-sf2k", or if it has to be something related to that which caused you to be banned from Sissyfight, something more subtle, such as "brasseye_sf2k".
