I won't blame you for taking me off your friend's list, guys, really. I have been updating very sporadically lately and the updates I have posted were pretty boring.
Craig and I have been preparing for the wedding and getting those types of things done. It's been fun and I have yet to be a bridezilla (although I think for some things I probably should have).
The summer has come and gone without much hurrah.
A friend I graduated high school with was murdered in her apartment two days ago. The police suspect her husband, and quick frankly, the rest of us do too. If you are from Michigan you may have seen it on the news: Police Not Buying Husbands Story About Wife's Murder might ring a bell. I will post more details when things settle down.
The basement is nearing completion. The walls are all painted and the ceiling is put in and the lights installed. Now we have to work on the floor, then the trim, then build the bar, then... yeah. But I am already loving it. :D
The Wedding Shower went really well! I don't know why I thought it wouldn't, quick frankly, but any worries I had were quickly silenced.
My sister and her husband were chosen to be the Baron and Baroness of Roaring Wastes. I suppose this will force me to become active but, honestly, I wanted to jump right back in after the wedding anyway. I will have no real reason not to besides the fact that I live a bit away from everyone (but there are other's that also live kind of far and they are much more active, including a few from Canada). But I am so proud of them!
So that's about it. I will try to update more often but, you know... life gets in the way.
