Parimah and College

Soo, I just ran into Parimah Kuzemi at Research Park after not seeing her for a year. Weird thing is how much our meeting was proceeded by thoughts about her. God, she still looks amazing and I could feel how disgustingly attracted I am to her. It was a nice, 5 minute conversation where she feined interest in my life before revealing that she was going to graduate in August with her Doctorate and running off to Southern California or New York for Post Doc research. I shook her hand to congratulate her and it was all she could do not to yank her hand away immediately noting something about a cold. Well, okay, maybe she mentioned before the shake but it definitely wasn't warm. I'd like to think the reason she suddenly deleted her myspace profile and ceased any and all communication with me was because she could feel the mutual attraction between us and didn't want any complications in her "Fuck You I'm a Doctor in Math" life, but that probably isn't anywhere near the truth.

I know that, for the rest of my life, I'm going to find the state of Iran and its people very sexy and alluring, simply for having known her. Anyhow...

So, I got my degree plan printed up and after this semester concludes in May I'll have 15 credit hours left to complete and I'll have my B.S. all wrapped up. There is, however, a snag. Apparently one of the last classes I need, Quantum, is only offered in the spring semester every other year. So that means my actual graduation date is going to be delayed until Spring of '09, and that last semester I'll only have to take one stupid class. This isn't all bad, however, after I talked to my undergraduate adviser. She said I should get into the graduate program that last semester and do some TA'ing, and It'll cover the costs of that semester while padding the resume even more. So, I plan to set up a meet with the Material Science department and seeing about getting into their graduate program. The word on the street is it'll only take a year to get that, so maybe I'll delay graduation from school until 2010 and come out with a Masters in Material Science and a BS in Engineering Physics.

And a unrelenting love of Iran.

You know, just once, ONCE, I'd like to be the recepient of one of these hard crushes rather than the tormented.

Oh, and Mark and April are getting a divorce. But that's all drama.
