Update.
I just posted an entry, that seems incongrous with my previous entry... So to explain I decided to do an update.
It was a Challenging month:
1) I hired someone, lost her as she couldn't handle the challenge, but she did very well by me and helped me when I most needed it.
2) The next week I hired another person. He's the cutest mix between pagan and redneck I've ever seen. Imagine a Pagan Jeff Foxworthy with minor anger issues. He's helpful, friendly and pretty darn reliable. He needs help with organizing and is intellectually normal, but his heart is in the right place so far.
3) I drove for a weekend to an orisha event that, as all the good ones do, changed my outlook on life. I will be doing so again this weekend.
4) I hired a Web Guy who is doing good work for 3 different customers.
5) I'm working with Daraknor on a Special kind of online store process.
6) I'm working with Daraknor with a special kind of online store building process. (different concept with different clientel)
7) The Video game was on hold, and is now waiting on me to get some minor work done.
8) Daraknor built a website for another customer and I'm helping him finish that website's minor configurations.
9) I have created processes for OTS's accounting and billing. Soon I will be in a position to hire a part time secretary to handle this work instead of having to do it myself. I estimate that the saved time will increase my income by about $300/wk.
10) I have created processes and trained a consultant to work on a project that usually takes around 30 hours/mo of my time. The cost for him doing it for me is 1/2 of the cost of what I earn from the contract, not counting the $1800 value of those hours for my added earning.
11) I have trained Rob to where he can handle most home customers himself with little to no input from me.
12) I worked with Misty to move our roomates out of our house.
13) I worked with Misty to refurnish and redesign our house. Our Garage, Living Room, Dining Room, Bedroom, Daughter's Room, Her Son's Room and our Office are completely different.
14) I dealt with a looming spirit and in the process finally got around to warding our house, and the office.
15) I have averaged 20 billable hours per week.
16) I have started work on an employee handbook which will cut training time for new techs down by about 30 hours, and will increase work accomplished and billable by as much as triple from the day they start work.
17) I have designed and started implementation of a huge Guerilla Marketing Campaign which will enable me to achieve my goal of $300,000 billed with OTS next year.
18) I oversaw the replacement of my car's radiator.
19) I oversaw the near completion of the Tech Room at OTS with specially designed Shelving allowing one tech to work on as many as 8-12 computers in a 6-6 space.
20) I took 2 days off for a course on Stock Trading that has focused me on a method of investing that will help me achieve my financial goals and start working on processes to increase them manyfold.
21) I have created a Schedule for myself that allows me 9 hours/Day at OTS, and 4 hours working on either training at Stocks, The Video Game, The Elite Jewelry Company, The Store system I'm working with IAN on or the Housescapers party company I'm planning, with specific time scheduled for each.
22) I have added to that schedule getting up at 5AM every day and excercising, meditating and eating before heading into the office... And have successfully done so for 10 days.
23) I found people who needed a camper shell and was able to get that Bohemeth removed and given to a new home who wouldn't be charged fines for ownership.
24) I have paid off the debt that had me put into check systems... As of a couple months from now I will be someone banks want to do business with again.
Through this all OTS has stayed in the borderline of black and red. Kind of Ironic considering Exu's colors (google Exu), but we're moving ahead. As Robert gets more and more stable I expect to see more black and have promised myself that by the end of the week the new "zero" for the OTS bank account would be enough to cover 1 weeks payroll... and intend that by this time next month that number will be 2 weeks payroll.
OTS is currently Red, but there's a lot of green that should be coming this week that will change that back to black... And I'm doing things that will ensure it stays there!
Additionally as of this Friday Kalamadea gets something he hasn't received in upwards of 5 years. A Paycheck. That's right as of Friday OTS will be making Kalamadea a member of recognized, respected and valued American culture again... MWAHAHAHAHA! Beware. My credit score will be quickly seeing the change. I expect that within 1 year my credit score will be at LEAST a 650 and within 2 at least 800... Soon pinky, I will be able to use other people's money to make money. MWAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH!
So. yeah.
