Mochi
It is Mochi's birthday today. He is six years old. He is now comfortably middle-aged. Except for his asthma. It doesn't like all this smoke.
His birthday has made me a little sad, because it makes me realize that, provided things go according to plan, I will out-live him. That just isn't fair. Pets should get to live as long as we do.
