...just like TV dinner turkey.
Tonight we went to a seder with my mom and friends of Judah's family at the military thingy. It was fun. We had turkey, which was good, and tasted just like TV dinner turkey (a faint memory I have from I don't know where) but they tried to make stuffing out of matzo to go with it. Bleh. Anywho. The funniest thing was the non-dairy creamer, which clearly stated "this is a non-dairy product." But in the ingredients it also listed "dairy derivatives," what ever those are. The ingredients also listed modified corn syrup, corn starch, as well as hydrogenated soy bean and palm kernel oil. It was also certified as a dairy product by the Orthodox Union, which is really funny for a "non-dairy" creamer. And, obviously, it was not kosher for passover. I thought it hilarious. I think I may have been the only one who noticed though.
