Ya win some... ya loose some...

Well the whole weekend get away house sitting thing didn't turn out so great after all.

Lady had 2 dogs, outdoor dogs... and 3 cats. 2 indoor/outdoor and one outdoor.

Dad left the place a freaking MESS when he went off to bike week... and being the little perfectionist I am I couldn't leave it all messy. I spent 4 hours cleaning and scrubbing the place from top to bottom, getting out dust and animal fur and all kinds of stuff like that.

I forgot I was allergic to cats and dogs.

I broke out with an allergic reaction to it all so bad I couldn't talk and I could barely BREATH. It was AWFUL!

Even Alex started to have allergic reactions too. We couldn't stay the night over there even the first night from it all... we just couldn't do it. Not to mention it just felt weird... like we had broken into sombodys house while they were on vacation and were living in it, even. Just WEIRD.

We ended up going home and sleeping in our own bed because we just couldn't take it.

Kept going back and forth all weekend, about every 6 hours, to check up on the animals and such. Never once saw those damned cats, but I knew they were inside because the food/water bowl levels kept dropping and the litterbox was being used. One of those damned dogs wriggled free from her collar and escaped too... but she came back today (3 days later). Apparently that dog gets loose all the freaking time and dad either has to hunt her down or bail her out of the pound constantly. Stupid dog....

I just couldn't go back into the house after all that cleaning and stirring up that fur and stuff because my allergies would just KILL me and I'd start breaking out with hives and such. =/ It was so awful... so much for a nice relaxing weekend.

It wasn't ALL bad though.

Sunday Alex and I went to Valdosta because we wanted to see the new Jet Li 'Fearless' movie and have some pizza. We took a different route than normal and happened to go past a park where people were running around playing Amtgard! Think of Live Action D&D, only you get to dress up in garb and whack people with foam padded swords. =D SO FUN!

We scrapped out movie ideas and went and played Amtgard all day. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! Everybody was so nice and friendly, and hooked us up with some starter swords and such. They even have this Thursday sewing class thing we were invited to that we're so going to attend. I'm going to learn to sew and make costumes for Alex and me! =D ITS GONNA BE FUN!

I think Alex is going to play a Human Barbarian named Gak. Going to make him some barbarian-esque garb with furs and stuff... just something with a hood and bear ears on top, cause that would be so cute and awsome. XD

My character kind of evolved out of goofing around with the group. I'm going to play a human turned Lycan... specifically a wereferret named Kiki, who'se already been dubbed "Pounce". She's going to be all the crack-happy spontanious, curious, friendly and bouncey aspects of my personality. Like a ferret-kender almost! WHEEE! Still dont know what class Im going to play... but I'll probably start off Assassian. Everyone was telling me I'd make an EXCELLENT Assassian because I'm small, I'm bouncey, I'm quick, I can sneak up on people easy and hide good and the fact I'm female doesn't hurt either. I'll probably multiclass Assassian/Archer/Healer/Wizard... because when I tried a bow I was pretty damned good at it... and I just want the magics that makes the peoples fall down AND get back up. XD

Games are every Sunday, which is perfect for us since its Alex's one day off... we're going to have SO much fun with this, I know we are!

Now I'm off to sketch more costume idea for the two of us... wheee! <3
