Decison making

May 28, 2008 15:12

It's always such a joy.

Well, we actually came to what I think will be a pretty workable decision, at least as an interum solution. I have told the Art Institute that I cannot attend this year, and will reevaluate my status in 09. They weren't very happy about that, let me tell you. D: ah well.
I am going to stay in Denver through December, as part of my commitment to Master Kim and the school. I love it here, and I don't see any gain from leaving A) before the belt test or B) immediately thereafter (the semester will have already  started). So, I will be here until then. I will probably take community college courses in a variety of areas to keep my credit flow continuing, and hopefully get out of some tedious gen-ed requirements that i've been putting off since starting college (math...cough... math).
For Spring 09 I will most likely return to CSU to pursue my art degree. In the event that I choose to do something different, I will address it probably in November/December.
I am not completely happy with this, just because I like absolute certainty, and because it means another semester of not seeing 'Ro except once a week. :( We both feel we can manage though, and she's known for a while that I'll be here through December at least.

So yes. Decision.

Also, I am going to be working relatively non-stop all summer. I would like to get one or two four day weekends to go hiking/camping/fishing etc... but that is probably all I can hope for. :) Fine by me anyway, as my job is doing what I love.

I am going to be dramatically reducing the amount of time spent online at places such as Deviantart and Furaffinity. I am kind of sick of the upkeep, and don't really find an overwhelming urge to post stuff anymore. After this week, I will probably get on about once a month to check messages, and may not update with arts for a while. I am probably going to clear out my galleries of all but my best works, and just leave them sitting. I don't want to get rid of them entirely, but I will definitely be almost inactive until further notice.

I am probably, therefore, going to be moderately more active on this journal, although I make no guarantees. Expect one-two entries per month, I would say. :3
If you are a friend, and would like to stay in more continual contact, my email is kaywolf@simla.colostate.edu. I will check my email every day or so, as always. You just can't help it nowadays. Also, shoot me a message if you don't have my cell number and want it. :) I'll probably give it to you unless I deem you creepy internet stalker crazy.

Namaste
