[music meme] Ghost Hunt

Original meme:
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do ten of these, then post them~.
Anyone want to tell me why I keep doing these?? Especially since I dont like the time constraints...GAH! Anyways five Ghost Hunt related one. Apologies if any typing/grammar errors since I wrote this here and not Word. Novel based spoilers!!
1) The Scientist - Coldplay
Noll sat as his desk going over his notes and all the information Yasuhara had gathered that day. It was late and he was tired but determined to finish this before he left for the night. It was not the first time he had been up all night going over a case file and it would not be the last either.
After making some notes he pinched the brigde of his nose, he felt a headache coming on.
--You should rest
Noll rolled his eyes. "Not now."
He could feel the annoyance on the other end.
--Noll, please you've been working alot lately. This isn't good for you.
"Enough Gene."
--Fine.
Noll felt the connection cease and he continued his work.
2) You Don't Know What Love Is - The White Stripes
"What's the matter with you?" Mai demanded.
Noll looked up at Mai. "Pardon?"
"Don't give me that, you know what Im talking about." Mai folded her arms glaring down at him.
Noll just stared. In all honestly he had no idea and the fact that Mai was not telling was starting to annoy him.
"Fine, if you're gonna be that way." she huffed and left the room.
Noll looked over at Lin, who was trying his best not to laugh.
"You're not going to tell me either are you?" Noll asked a bit of annoyance in his voice.
3) Wondeful - Everclear
Noll looked out the window at the children playing in the courtyard. He saw Gene there with them, he looked like he was enjoying himself. A rare smile crossed his face. In the short time they had been at the orphanage Gene had become quite popular with the other kids but this did not surprise Noll at all. Gene was naturally charismatic and enjoyed being around others, where as he did not. He preferred quiet. Gene always tried to make him join in on whatever the other kids were doing but Noll never saw a point to participating in group activities. If anything he preferred it when it was just him and Gene. Course sometimes he just preferred being alone, like now. Noll watched Gene a bit longer then went back to his book.
4) Black Mirror - Arcade Fire
"Where are you?" Noll asked.
--Im not sure.
"Useless." he muttered.
--Can you find a mirror, I need a charge, then I'll be able to hear you better.
Noll was not sure if he would be able to find one but decided to check the bedrooms first. The first two rooms had a small amount of furniture in them but no mirrors. Frustration started building for Noll. Finally in the third one he found one on the wall.
Putting his hand on it, he felt Gene throw a charge, amplifing it the hrew it back. This continued until he felt that Gene was close enough to see. Turning around he saw his brother again.
5) Untitled - Simple Plan
Mai sat on her bed. She had been crying for so long finally no more tears came out. In her hands she gripped the photo Noll had given her of himself and Gene. Even though he had told her everything, even though it did finally make sense to her, it did not mean that it still did not hurt. She knew what she saw in her dreams she could never have. She knew nothing could change that and realizing that was the hardest thing she ever had to admit to herself. Setting the photo on her table she laid down on the bed hoping that sleep would dull the pain in her chest a bit.
Author's Notes: Damn you Coldplay! This all started since my winamp switched to Coldplay and as soon as The Scientist started playing I was like...I need to write about Noll, then it just continued from here. Also maybe its cuz Im way too into KHR at the moment but Noll kinda sounds like Hibari in #4, well the not liking groups XD
