Aaargh!! Keyhole hates me tonight T^T
Takashi-kun and his two classmates (What are those guys' names? ^^;) are chatting while walking over a bridge. Takashi sees a boy on the other end of the bridge but his friends don't see anything, so apparently it's a youkai. The youkai boy runs away when he realizes that Takashi is aware of his existence.
I don't remember what YTakashi and friends are talking about on the bridge. Something about spending the vacation? Anyway, the friends ask him if he's feeling okay because Takashi looks pale. When he gets home, Takashi checks his temperature and the thermometer reads thirty-seven-point-something degree Celsius. So yeah, he's having a slight fever. Of course he's not telling Touko-san about it because he doesn't want to make her worry. Aww... But I bet she'd be glad (more like relieved) if you'd told her, Takashi-kun! You need to learn to rely on her, seriously.
The youkai boy shows up again. This time he's peeping through the window of Takashi's room. Takashi invites him in. The youkai boy mistakes him as Reiko-san, asking him "Do you remember me?" so Takashi assumes that the youkai boy wants him to return his name. He summons the yuujinchou but... the book doesn't have his name! D: "My name is being kept somewhere else," the youkai boy says. Reiko had torn the page with his name off the yuujinchou and put it inside a twig of a tree and told him that he can have it back after 50 years.
Now, 50 years later, it's almost impossible to find the right tree so Nyanko-sensei tells him to just give it up. The fact that the boy is safe and unharmed means the paper with his name is also safely kept. But Takashi being the kind soul that he is, offers to look for it. So that night, they're having a search party. Even Tanuma joins the hunt! Oh wow Tanuma! I haven't seen him for like ages! Those two guys from school also come to help. And so does Sasada. Then Konoe joind them later on. Takashi gets a lot of help :)
(And this is the time where keyhole decided to be a complete jerk. The image frozel while the audio kept going T^T So from this point on I just relied on the sound only. It's like listening to a drama CD ^^;. I missed some scenes because I was restarting keyhole a couple of times, and still got the sound only >_<)
Oh the youkai's name is Kirinoha btw.
Not sure what they're originally talking about but 'the ocean' comes up in the conversation. Looks like Kirinoha had told Reiko that he wanted to see the ocean, or something like that. (Kirinoha has been wanting to see the ocean but he can't do it because he can't leave the forest.)
Takashi faints in the forest. His friends take him home to Touko-san. Nyanko-sensei, Konoe and Kirinoha stay in Takashi's room while he's sleeping. Konoe tells them about her meeting with Reiko. Kirinoha says that Reiko was mean. Then Takashi wakes up and ask if Kirinoha really thinks Reiko is mean. She must have hidden his name for a purpose. Kirinoha just have to find it again to know what Reiko's goals.
So once Takashi has recovered, they're starting the search again. This time the two youkai from the forest give them a hand. Eventually they find it. The paper is hidden on top of a very big and high tree. Takashi encourages Kirinoha to climb it. So climb he does. Then Kirinoha finds the paper. But that's not the only thing he finds; he can also see the ocean from there! :) So that's the reason why Reiko had kept his name there and told him to wait 50 years for the tree to grow :)
