Venus and Mars: Talkative?

So I heard on the radio , and saw on CNN that a study was conducted to find out which gender was more chatty in general. And the end results were that women use 20 000 words a day , while guys only use around 7000. Some how I think this is inaccurate , especially know how quiet I am , and a female. So what do you guys think? Who's more talkative: guys , gals or does it depend on the person and the situation?
