I really do need to make a proper update sometime soon, I do have two future entries in mind, one about Christmas 2010 and my recent acquisition of an...IPAD AMLQEJLWSJ LQSA!! But for now, a question to you lovely people in livejournal land. For those of you with allergies, have you noticed allergy season seems to have started earlier this year as compared to years gone by? For the past two and a half weeks I've been stocking up on the usual allergy meds and have been having a wonderful time with stuffy and sometimes a bloody nose that leads to lovely sinus pressure headaches. That combined with how sensitive I am to changes in air pressure, it's been headaches here and there. I'm surprised I haven't been blessed with a migraine yet(PLEASE DON'T HAPPEN). The only thing that seems to give me relief are the tower fans I have, an open window with a cool breeze and ice cream for itchy throats. So what do you guys do? When allergy season starts up? Also...why can't we make pollinating plants and ragweed illegal some how? On a lighter note...
Here we have mister Adell. As part of that quest of slowly(but surely) moving away from the super shiny desu, cutesy style and to a more semi-realistic one, I thought now was a nice time to move away from the blurry gradient colouring for the eyes that I've been using for the past 5-6 years and just shade the iris with black as I've seen a lot of artists doing now a days. And look at that...pupils! Should probably add those when working on the actual lineart in future. You know what else? When you draw something with good anatomy, a decent colouring job instantly becomes AWESOME whooo! Oh and for those of you keeping track this would be picture number 9(if you include my potential table banner for conventions) out of 11 pieces. Would like to try and get this one finished before May, in case I manage to snag a table on the artist check-in day. Failing that, I have a plan B and will try for the THIRD TIME FUUUUUUUU...with Anime North 2012. Either way I will find a convention in the GTA to sell my work at, and then the rest of Canada, then the US and then...THE WORLD MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...erm...yes, I'm passionate about this, can't you tell?
Should stock up on my Bryer's ice cream!
