So spring has sprung!
I know spring is around the corner since my allergies are starting to act up. Last weekend, I couldn't stop sneezing until I got my hands on my favorite allergy meds XD! So for a little update...I think I may have pinched a nerve in my left shoulder! I've had this weird tingly sensation in my shoulder especially after putting pressure on it. At it's worst I had trouble lifting BOTH my arms, all kinds of pain, weird tightness in my right side. As soon as I told my mother about the tingling, she started to freak out. Can't blame her, being a nurse for one, and a person with chronic back pain as the result of a herniated disk! So now I'm not allowed to have anything heavier than a pound on the shoulder, can't use my sexy gym bags till things are back to normal and I have to use this goofy looking knapsack D:! Things were going fine and then all of a sudden, I hear that it's too "dangerous" to use the knapsack on both shoulders and to sling it on my right. DO YOU REALIZE HOW AWKWARD THAT FEELS?!?! Yeah it feels funny(lol lefty)! On the bright side, the tingling is becoming less and less and I now have an excuse to look for a lighter messenger bag. I just hope everything fixes itself without me having to go to the doctor...that man keeps calling me about wanting to syringe my ears. Hello, I don't have an ear infection anymore, please stop suggesting things that are painful!
In other news, spent the day making photoshop brushes out of pictures of flowers. I love these Dover books I recently bought, for one, they're royalty free to use for designs and two, they artwork is just so pretty. Also...
IT'S COMING ALONNNNG! I know I have till MAY to finish all the art for Anime North, but I want to try and be done everything by April. Making 10 images,(6 prints, 4 bookmarks)! Why 10? It's MAH LUCKY NUMBER, it's the year 2010, I was born on the 10th and I always have felt there is something special about that particular number. Also, this week is the week that people have to request a table for the artist alley. I am not leaving the house or my laptop and/or computer until I get the result I want. According to the convention's official site, emails should be sent at 8p.m. on the 19th, well I'm sending mine at 7:58 to internet cockblock other people just to be early -__-! Can I tell you all how excited I am about this? The fact that I'm still trying to see this through despite all the craziness with $hitmart, school and family? Funny, my mother asked me a few months ago about how things were going with the project. She said I really should do this if only to keep my mind focused on something other than all that's been going on. That...and she wants a print :P! Should make her pay money for one, just to be evil! When it's all done, I'll post the rest of the images as little thumbnails! I'd start sketching artwork for the bookmarks now, then ink and start cel-shading them but I got an annoying sinus headache. I hope this all goes well...
