Experiment Log 001: Monster Class Z(ombie).
Preliminary experiments: Complete.
Notes: The zombies infesting the Infinite Fortress show increased speed (roughly 1.3x average human speed) and endurance (vulnerable to fire but not deterred by it; lightning stuns temporarily; ignore physical blows even as damage accumulates). Human intelligence is somewhat retained retained, as shown in attempts to remove lock from cage; however, while they could open doors (as observed out of captivity), they lack the dexterity to do more than fumble with locks.
Secondary experiments: Complete.
Notes: Twenty zombies gathered, previous experiment repeated. Results echoed previous results; however, ten of twenty attempted to tear off lock; four were successful. Endurance further tested: total annihilation required to fully stop one; destruction of head reduces "intelligence" threat, but increases unpredictability factor. Presence of meat draws their attention away: cooked and frozen are ignored, thawed and rotted mostly ignored, fresh and partly rotted draw attention. Most attention is to "live" meat, i.e. still-moving targets; initially hypothesized that they were attracted to motion, but they were drawn towards still living beings as well as moving. Smell may play a part, as well as quality of life, based on state of meats.
Tertiary experiments: Results pending.
Notes: Magami Ayame was placed in charge of dissection. He seems like he's having fun.
Juubei, one wasn't enough, but don't worry; I had Kagami and the Magami brothers collect the rest. How are things going on your end?
[ OOC: The place MAKUBEX is calling is, in Japanese, called Mugenjou, which can be translated several different ways. Originally I went for Limitless Fortress, as it's called in the official release, but after talking to my castmates have decided to go for Infinite Fortress. Just FYI! ]
