Birthday Blues
So my tonsil removal has been bumped up a week. That means that the surgery is on the 21st which is the day before my birthday. So I will wake up in the hospital on my birthday. Plus I will be in some pain on my birthday. OH JOY!!! What a way to turn 21!!!! I must say I'm celebrating it in quite a different way then most people! Benjamin is going to take me out this weekend instead of on my birthday since I definitely won't be up to going out on my actual birthday. My family will do stuff with me this weekend too. The good news is I will be eating lots of chocolate milkshakes on my birthday! :)
Benjamin bought me the most beautiful picture at the flea market the other day. He and I really enjoy going there. It's so much fun looking at all the stuff!! But this picture has a lighthouse (my absolute favorite) with a blue sky spotted with dark storm clouds. There is also a rainbow shining from the clouds down to the ocean which is crashing on the shore. The best part is the picture glows because of lights inside it, and the water looks like it is moving!! It also makes ocean sounds. It is simply beautiful! Exactly what I always wanted!!
Again, I'm ready to be back at school. I'm ready to be studying, writing, reading, and working again. I'm ready to spend some time with my great roomie!!! :) I'm going to miss Benjamin a ton though! It's amazing how accustomed you become to having your loved one around all of the time. Then all of the sudden for 8 months you don't get to see him that often. But I've never wanted a long distance relationship to work so much, so it is definitely worth it!
Well, I'm going to get back to spending time with the family. I hope everyone is doing well!!
