I haven't done one of these in ages, but I abused Cyn enough that I felt it'd only be fair, lol. stealing format from melonpaan because i am much too lazy, tired to think of anything myself. XD

kimura/yuko, "sure, he's my son whenever he's doing something wrong."
(Wasn't sure where to go with this prompt, but lol hope you enjoy it.)

"I had lunch with your son today," Yuko announces when she arrives home. Kimura looks up from some papers, glasses sliding to the edge of his nose before he pushes them up.

"What did Yamapi do today?" he asks, taking the glasses off and rubbing his forehead before putting all his stuff down on the side table.

"And what gave that away?"

"He's only my son whenever he's done something wrong. So. What's he done this time?"

Yuko falls onto the couch beside him with a sigh. She toes off her heels and tucks her legs underneath her. "Apparently he is unsure of what he should be doing right now, so he's decided that a life in entertainment would be an interesting venture."

Kimura stifles a laugh, positive that isn't the reaction Yuko is looking for. Instead, he says as steady as he can, "It's only taken him a few centuries to be unsure. I'm actually impressed."

She turns to him with a glare. "You're entirely helpful."

"I try to be wise in my old age." He wraps an arm around her and even though she's resistant at first, she succumbs to the warmth of her husband and rests beside him. "What did Masami say about this?"

Yuko laughs. "Apparently, she's rather fond of the idea. Even said she would do it with him if he wanted."

"Sounds like her." Kimura kisses her on her forehead. "Well, it's not like he's a God. He needs to do something with his life."

"Fabulous. Let's have him dressed in sequins and get him started."

"His fashion could do with an update."

Yuko hits Kimura lightly on the leg. "Again, utterly helpful."

"I've used up my quota of helpfulness in easing other God's delicate dispositions."

"Oh?"

"Yes, well, I found Mirei rather out of sorts in the main hall. She was not very happy with Jun."

Yuko snorts. "A day when someone is happy with Jun is one in which hell with freeze over."

"Shota would dislike that very much."

"You know what I mean."

"Well, I think Ohno and Satomi would beg to differ anyway."

Yuko stiffens underneath his arms. "I'm not ready to speak on that matter."

"Ah," Kimura murmurs, pressing another kiss on her forehead. "You would think with the changing of times that your view as the Goddess of marriage would have to morph along with it."

"But they're not married. Ohno and Satomi are. Jun shouldn't be involved after the fact." Kimura nods, but remains silent. Yuko sighs, turning to him. "We'll have to talk about it with them eventually, you know."

"Of course," he says lightly, leaning down to kiss her. "But I find I'd rather do other things right now."

Yuko laughs, wrapping her arms around his neck. "What a delightful happenstance. I find I feel the same."

(I CANNOT SEEM TO STOP TALKING ABOUT JUN/SATOMI/OHNO. IAS;DLKFJASKDJF I APOLOGIZE THAT THEY ARE EVERYWHERE. EVEN IN SOMETHING STARTING WITH YAMAPI.)

HAHAHA. i love the implication that yamapi was floating around forever until he finally decided to go into entertainment. YES. WITH MASAMI. altho masami will end up a more successful actor. XD lskjda i love kimura/yuko cuteness (and that this is actually more light-hearted than the others) but LOL yeah, you love the junsatomiohno, don't you. LOL. but i find it funny/odd that with all the crap the actual greek gods did, our version's love triangle takes the most scandalous tone? altho i get that it's a bigger deal with yuko & mirei. (maki maybe not as much, but she'd probably side with mirei - this makes me feel sad for satomi tho, i want her to have girlfriends. ;___;)

well, what can we do? Yamapi has dead-fish eyes. It's not entirely that desirable. lolol BUT YES. LOL after his hero days, whoops, what now?! Flounder flounder. (and omg, isn't it hilarious that of ALL OF THESE, yuko/kimura as hera/zeus is the most light-hearted. That amuses me to no end. XD) I feel like I keep coming back to the triangle because as of now, ti's the most drama i have envisioned (so maybe you should come up with something to get that in winkwinknudgenudge) so lol it's the only thing they're preoccupied with. lolol

(and omg, yes. i'm so sad! as it stands, it doesn't SEEM like Satomi has any friends! All the other girls would be against her--esp when they would disagree with her stance on love or marriage or whatnot. XD But then again, I still don't know much about Poseidon's wife, so maybe she'd be friends.....??)

XD it's okay he'll make out like a bandit with his good looks and songs with random english and apparently spanish. YES. this prompt could have easily turned dark ("he killed his wife and children!" only - that wouldn't happen since he's actually yuko's son in this version) but i like how we can't make the most dysfunctional couple actually dysfunctional because kimura and yuko are too BAMF for drama. (i may be working on something but...i make no promises.) but that's true, maybe this is when everyone first finds out about the triangle and that's why everyone is preoccupied with it? that makes sense!

(i think meisa would think her a bit frivolous, but not dislike her. maki probably just disagrees with her, but generally is ok with satomi - like, she just sees the impracticality of what love can do/cause in terms of war and stuff. OH. YURIKO. i don't think yuriko and shihori would be satomi's friends (shihori is married to the god of sexual desire, after all)! i think yu could go either way, because either she's used to shun's flirting or is really against it and hence, isn't too keen on the goddess of love either? masami also - they're friends irl apparently right? i think masami would be cool with satomi too! :D)

I like that idea. that they finally all found out what the fuck has been going on between satomi/ohno/jun so everyone's all WTFWTF HOW DO WE DEAL. (maybe it'd seemed for the longest to have been an affair. that ohno was being cuckolded but that they can deal with, but a THREESOME? now that's craziness. even amidst affairs and incest and other shit that not only Gods but mortal get up to. cough.)

LOL ohno being cuckolded they can deal with - poor ohno! XD man, this threesome is really misunderstood individually as well as together, no wonder they found each other.

oops i guess shihori might not like satomi much either (since the whole thing started with a grudge on aphrodite/venus's part) but i especially like the idea of satomi being friends with masami & yuriko. :D

I love love love the banter, and I can somewhat imagine that at some point, Zeus!Takuya and Hera!Yuko have exchanged all those playful "Maybe-Must-be"s like they did in the jdrama and guh, Pi as Herc and Zeus' son, seriously what have you and melonpaan done I'm just going to be waiting here for more drabbles and expect more flails from my end. heheheh! I like imagining that these bamf would just have banter up the wazoo. they're powerful, they're together, they lord over the other gods, how much better can their lives be. :D YAMAPI AS THEIR SON IS THE BEST THING EVER. ♥ I HOPE OUR SUBSEQUENT MATERIAL WILL BE ENTERTAINING! :)
