Tegoshi came bounding into the KAT-TUN room, pouting. Jin mumbled an "Uh-oh," before high-tailing it out of the room, leaving Nakamaru and Tegoshi in a room. Alone.
Nakamaru had heard about when Tegoshi pouts. All from Massu who couldn't seem to resist doing whatever Tegoshi wanted just because of that one pout. Then he'd heard of other stories around the company of what Tegoshi had managed to do with one pout - like getting Nagase to pay for an entire day's outing because "he'd forgotten his wallet," or getting Nino to lend him his Nintendo DS because he'd heard Nino's game had been really good. And the stories went on. It was enough to give one an inferiority complex.
Which Nakamaru sadly had.
"Tegoshi?" Nakamaru managed to say without stuttering. (He had to resist from adding a "kun.")
Promptly, without any word of warning, Tegoshi took a seat. On Nakamaru's lap. Nakamaru had to hold back his squawk. Instead, he swallowed. "What are you doing?"
"Why didn't you ask me for advice?" Tegoshi asked, ignoring Nakamaru's question. "I could be a good senpai."
Nakamaru chuckled awkwardly. "You don't even go onto the campus, Tegoshi."
"Neither will you," Tegoshi pointed out. "But I could help with the whole taking classes online and trying to balance work and school out." He pouted again and Nakamaru had to resist from wincing.
"There's nothing like experience?" Nakamaru said in a voice that wasn't convincing, even to himself.
Tegoshi's pout actually got heavier, if that was even possible. "But I've been wanting to pass on my knowledge to someone," he practically whined. (Sounding something like Jin for that matter.)
Nakamaru stuttered through his next couple of attempts to alleviate Tegoshi, except nothing akin to Japanese actually came out. "I guess I'd like to hear what you know," Nakamaru finally said. Something entirely different from what he'd expected he'd say.
The pout disappeared, replaced by a large grin. "Really?! I'm so glad! Let me go get my notes!" Tegoshi squealed, wrapping his arms around Nakamaru's neck, squeezing tightly then bounding right back out the room, just like how he had arrived.
A few seconds of silence in the room and Nakamaru trying to figure out what had just happened, Jin's head popped out from between the door crack. "He's gone?" Jin asked, sounding trepidatious as he slowly inched his way back inside the room.
"Yeah," Nakamaru croaked. "Is he always-"
"Yes," Jin sighed, sinking back into his seat. "How do you think he convinced Pi and me-" Jin looked back up at a stricken Nakamaru. "Never mind."
Nakamaru thought that maybe next time, he should run out of the room like Jin had.
