Ohkura Tadayoshi/Yamashita Tomohisa.
A/N: Before I left for vacation, I asked Rhey and Alena to give me two batches of 9 random words and 9 random pairings (Originally it was supposed to be one batch of 8 random words/pairings, but you see how I am with resisting stuff. XP). I finally got around to finishing ONE batch. Yes. I'm behind. Ooops. So here's the first finished batch. Finally. For Rhey/4_03_am. (Originally posted here.)
Ohkura isn't sure if he's losing his mind or maybe there really is someone in the Kanjani8 break room in a Koala costume who had just come into the room and shut the door behind him, panting and back against the door. "Um..." Ohkura starts and the person in the costume turns his head (its head?) towards Ohkura. "Um... The zoo's next door?" Ohkura says awkwardly, thinking that he would really have a better comeback if he hadn't been so stunned.
The person inside the costume laughs as he takes off the head of the costume. "Sorry, I lost a bet with Ryo and now I'm hiding from him because he's insisting to get everything down on tape. I'd rather not."
Ohkura gapes as he realizes that the person behind the costume is Yamashita Tomohisa and he is currently inside the Kanjani8 room, hiding from Ryo. There was something wrong with this picture. "I... Feel free to hide here, I guess," Ohkura says, stammering with his words and wondering why he feels his face turning red at the sight of Yamapi smiling brightly at him.
"Thanks!" Yamapi says enthusiastically, as he tries to wipe off some of his sweat with the arm of the costume. It doesn't help any and Ohkura finds himself getting up and giving Yamapi a (clean) towel. Yamapi blinks at it before laughing slightly. "I appreciate it, but I don't exactly have hands to hold that." He held up his arms, showing exactly how he couldn't really do it.
Ohkura "O"es before he moves, before thinking, and he wipes at Yamapi's forehead. His body moves closer to Yamapi's as he tries to get Yamapi as comfortable as he can be in that hot costume suit. Yamapi exhales harshly and Ohkura freezes in his motions. "I'm.... I..." He stammers, pulling back and his face burns as he realizes what he's doing. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..."
Yamapi's smiling face stops him and his kind eyes catch Ohkura's. "Thanks, I appreciate it," he says softly. They both hear footsteps approaching the door and Yamapi runs to hide behind one of the couches and Ohkura opens the door to find an anxious Ryo.
"Hey, have you seen Pi?" Ryo asks and Ohkura shakes his head, shrugging.
"Nope, why?" Ohkura asks nonchalantly.
Ryo shakes his head. "No reason," he says, before rushing off down the hallway. Ohkura shuts the door behind him and Yamapi peeks out from behind the couch.
"He's gone?" Yamapi asks and Ohkura nods which prompts Yamapi to come out from behind. Yamapi beams at Ohkura before sitting down on the couch, putting the head next to him. "Thanks a lot," Yamapi says kindly and Ohkura smiles back. He'd be more than happy to do Yamapi favors as long as he keeps smiling at Ohkura that way.
