Notes: It feels lacking to me. Like it's missing something. But it's a drabble, so I guess the places that feel too vauge to me are okay. In a way, it's MEANT to be vauge, but I may work with it later and add more. In the meantime, it's being submitted to onepieceyaoi100 for the "Lies" topic.
There was always this charade. These women that he adored, that didn’t mean nearly as much as he wanted everyone to think they did; these escapades that didn’t mean as much to him as he wanted them to.
Port after port, it was the same put-on, the same façade.
What am I looking for?
And every time, they meant less.
What do I need?
Maybe this next one will mean more. Maybe this next one will make this hollow ache stop. An inner deceit; the endless search for fulfillment. That missing piece that made him feel hollow and empty.
