Kakera #014 [Action/Voice]
[Waking up this morning in a strange bed was not something on Bernkastel's list of things to do. However, she recognized the place vaguely. More than that she felt a lot different. A lot more...human. Inspecting the mirror in the bedroom quickly alerted her to the fact that she was being affected by the experiment, in the worse kind of way. She had switched places with Rika Furude.
A morbid thought of committing suicide came to mind. If not suicide, then maybe breaking some of this body's bones and then letting Rika deal with it when they would switch back. At least Bernkastel assumed they would, otherwise she might actually go through with that suicide. Repeatedly. Death meant nothing to her anyway, but to Rika...
--Rika was in her body right now. So she couldn't kill the girl's body and be left with nothing. She wasn't even sure if killing herself would return her back to her original body or not.
Seeking her out was too dangerous and telling someone about this could be suspicious as well. If they realized the connection Frederica Bernkastel had to Rika Furude...there was no time to think about it. She needed to look for the real Rika Furude who was surely in her body right now.
Normally Rika would not be going outside right now. But, Bernkastel remembered seeing Takano being turned into a child. If that was the case then she could likely walk past her without the other even realizing who she was. And quite frankly she wasn't going to stay inside just because the pieces in this house would want Rika to. Right now the important part was trying to find her body, but being secretive about it. Hopefully Rika didn't have her magic either or else things could get really bad. If she did, then Bernkastel only hoped that the girl would be too dumb to figure out how to use it.
So she walks out of her room, hoping to get out before anyone sees her.
That isn't going to happen.]
[After running into the housemates, "Rika" manages to get out and walk into town, wearing some winter clothes naturally. Right now she isn't too sure what to do though. The fact that she had no magic was not helpful, but she wouldn't let it overcome her.]
Mii-...everyone is acting really strange. What's happening? [She rather not go on the journal, but this is likely something that Rika would ask as a new resident. Playing her role is more important than anything.] Did a cat decide to play a trick on everyone? What a mean thing. We should punish it afterward and make it cry. Nyah, Nyah, Nyah~ [ugh playful banter like that made Bern sick]
[After asking that, she quietly goes to the library and picks up a couple books. One mystery and, just because she loves making fun of how dumb they are, a romance. Depending on which book you see her reading she'll either look very serious or be reading with a small smirk the entire time, doing her best not to laugh. Staying in the plaza to read them will hopefully help her blend in with the crowd and no one will notice anything strange.]
