If you were given one wish in the entire world, what would you ask for? Would you be willing to give something...or even everything up for it?

[This question doesn't have much reason or rhyme to it, other than pure curiosity. All creatures are so unique with what they want and since Luceti has such a diverse mix of humans, demons and other beings ( Read more... )

If it's something you truly want to wish for, then one should be more than willing, and even ready, to give something up in exchange for it.

Quite true. But some believe that one day their wishes will come true without even trying.

I find them foolish. Wishes change everything after all. Their fulfillment brings into motion a change in events.

Indeed. When your wish comes true, with all the effort you put into it against all odds - that is truly a miracle. A true wish.

What would you wish for, then?

Nothing. I have no wishes. There's nothing that I'd like to see or have; no one I'd like to be my friend or fall in love with me. I don't want to make the world a better place or fulfill someone else's happiness. Nor would I be cruel enough to have my wish me to give to someone else.

The old saying goes "be careful what you wish for" for a reason you know.

So you have nothing in life you want to accomplish?

That's why one plans and predicts. If you're prudent at the whole thing and know how to predict the way everything will unfold, then you can accomplish pretty much anything.

Of course, there are also those occasional moments when there's a kink in even the best laid plans. One just adapts and moves on.

So a life with a cheat code. That's pretty unexciting. Isn't the best part of a battle actually having a battle?

Nope. Too messy. And it takes away from tea time ♥.

[...Well she likes tea too, but the best cup is usually after a victory.]

I can't begin to imagine your boring life. If it was mine I would probably stab myself just to experience some type of feeling.

[He prefers his tea any time really. And anywhere. Not even abandoned churches are off-limits.]

That's where you and I differ then. I have no use for feelings of any kind.

So you're a living doll? Again, your life must be riveting.

I'm but a simple servant of a Dukedom. It suits my lifestyle.

[There was no need to mention the full extent of his dealings and involvements.]

Oh, a servant? [Well that explains it] Now I see. Furniture has no need for feelings after all. A empty husk existing only to serve.

I'm surprised you didn't pick it up earlier.

Well, we are only communicating through a journal. Sensing furniture over such a device isn't exactly something that I'm accustomed to. [and she's not even sure if it's possible to begin with.]
