A Most Disgusting Pre-Dinner Aperitif
I just got back from a dip in my condo's pool. I don't swim there frequently, and I'll quite likely cut down even further, because the water was DISGUSTING!!!!! I was haunted by floating strands of hair, and visible layers of dirt or black/brown specks (hopefully not droppings of toddlers/birds/insects) on the floor of the pool.
Almost clawed my way out of the water the moment the bubbles cleared and I could see again - despite my grand old age, I still like to jump into the deepest part of the pool with a big splash. :P
