this was supposed to be a short break from homework

taking a break from drawing, but better not let this last too long. this drawing's due Tuesday in class.
My class is meeting as a group instead of the individual meetings. I sure hope this drawing turns out great. I'm drawing a crazy cluster of orange popsicles. Mmmmmmmmmm

I'm getting the hang of using the prisma markers and they're so fun. The hard part will be stopping myself from going out to the store and buying a bazillion colors. 12 colors is not enough!!

Especially since I've been spending so much money. there's the xmas shopping for everybody, and then what usually happens is i find a ton of stuff i like.
Why, that hat is ridiculously cute! A 600 page Tamarind lithography book for eight bucks, are you serious?!?!?! Hmm i guess that's all i bought for myself... I gotta hide my wallet and spend only on gifts and such.

On the other hand, I went to buy paper last week for class. each 22" by 30" piece of paper costs three dollars. I took 25 sheets and a can of spray fixative. It wasn't until I got home that I realized the cashier charged me only for the spray fix and two pieces of paper. Instead of an 80 dollar charge, I only got charged 13 bucks. Wasn't too sure what to do. Be honest and pay the difference or consider this a mistake in my favor? My mom favored the latter. I do feel a bit of guilt but on the other hand I'm a poor college student who relies on her boyfriend a lot to pay bills and rent. He does make much much more money than i do...

Another thing I'm quite confused about: the grad students are constantly going to starbucks and going out to eat. One grad eats out at least once a day and buys coffee all the time. Kim, he's just as crazy for coffee as you. I wouldn't mind joining them but how can they afford this? Pfft, I'm irked at how much i spend on groceries for me and the bottomless stomach of Chaz. Going out to eat is a treat.
Hmm, tuition wavers must be hella awesome for grad students.

school, money
