Taking a break now. The paper has to dry a little before i do anything else to it anyway. Just finishing a belated christmas gift for chaz.
It feels a little foolish trying to finish it. Not because it's after christmas, but because
Chaz is one of those people who are so honest about liking gifts or not that it really is brutal.
This time around it is a gift i'm making so hurts a pinch more. It's a watercolor painting of one of his favorite cars. Except after i showed it to him, i got a little bit of a no no from him cause it's the wrong year. Watercolor has no room for do-overs unless you're willing to start all over again. I told him I'd have to paint him another some other time.
Ouch. Is it that bad?
No, it wasn't as bad as his birthday which brought me to tears.
Maybe he'll grow to like this painting...just like those birthday gifts (fingers crossed)
