postulating a contrast of rectilinear figures to gestural mark
painting is hard. or maybe i'm making it difficult because i want it to look awesome. damn you fruit! damn you teacher's expectations! damn you acrylic! damn you sleepiness!
Had a crit in watercolor thursday. i was surprised at how generally liked my paintings were. sure there were compositional problems. pft, i did have fun painting them though because i splattered paint on the board. woooooooooooooooooooo!
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sleepy. i have become a cat. i nap frequently in a day. i nap for seconds in class, mintues in the car (parked car that is) and an hour or two at night. Nope, my body doesn't accept these naps very well.
hmm, kinda thirsty right now. there are waterbottles on my desk but i am avoiding them. i watched a bit on the news talking about the high bacteria levels in re-used water bottles. screw it. people who know me know i'll eat expired shit. mmm thirst quenched.
i wrote a paper for chaz last night (to drunk to type). oi, 2+ pages about edvard munch's "scream." i hope he doesn't get in trouble because i used a lot of big words and terms his class never discussed. that was tiring. bad news: i got home at 3. good news: during my drive home i saw a kitten. i mean an itty bitty kitten checking out something in the middle of the street. insanely cute. good news part 2: chaz owes me, bwahahahahaha
