Starting over

I was going to post about getting to work on another musical - it seemed like an ideal topic since I love working on them. However, during one of our moments of downtime I opened up a game I'd poured hours into during down times and moments when I should be sleeping... only to realize it had been completely deleted. ;;

I can't even bring myself to play it again, though I've booted it up a number of times since in the hopes my save file will come back. Has this ever happened to you? It's really hard to go back to something and redo all your work, isn't it?
