Oh look an update.
Thursday I left for New Jersey, the drive was pretty rough but definitely worth it. I got to Jess's house and hung out with her parents for a bit, then I got the tour of beautiful Tom's River. We did a drive by, but shhhhhhh that's a secret. We went to the diner and the compulsive waiter refilled my coffee far too many times. I got to see the pretty beach and hang out with her friends, who might I add are spectacular people. I got sand all over me and tried to sleep with all the coffee but it didn't work so well. Friday I went out to lunch at this fun place with Evan and then hung out in his hammock most of the afternoon since Jess was at work. His parents made me dinner which was REALLY sweet of them then Jess picked me up. We got Yoni at the bus (YAY! who made the trip from Long Island) and then we went to Jess's to prepare for the celebration, bitches. Friday night was crazy. There was so much going on, excessive drama and yelling but generally an amazing time. Walking to 7-11, listening to Murder by Death on the hood of my car, frolicking in the tick grass, just a good time. Jess has great friends and I had such a fun time getting to know them and seeing what her life is like in NJ. I drove home yesterday which sucked even more, 95 through Connecticut is one giant construction site. Connecticut sucks. I got home last night and saw Colin and AJ, I missed Colin far too much. We didn't see nearly enough of each other this year. I worked a double today where I was referred to as a "sexy librarian" by some drunk...I guess the glasses do that? I dunno. It weirded me out. I start class tomorrow but I am excited human osteology should be fun...this will be my first bio anth class since freshman year so I hope I'm not TOO rusty, I've been reading up on old things...
Generally in a good mood. Which happens to be better than before I left for NJ. Let's hope I can maintain a little momentum. :)
I don't know if anyone cares or not but the new Onelinedrawing album is superb. I highly recommend it. It might be my favorite Jonah yet :)
I haven't really slept well in a week and my cell phone rang at 3 am this morning...I was almost coherent enough to answer it.
Work and class tomorrow...wooooooooo.
