Dull Week
It's been a pretty dull week, so there's not much to write about. I finally caught up on sleep Wednesday--constant opening shifts do not agree with me. Next week will be better for my sleep patterns, even if I have to work all day July 4th (time-and-a-half plus vacation pay!). Work has been fairly dull, although customers seem to know exactly when we are short staffed and only show up at those times so they can stand around and look irate. The preparations for the Grand Hallows Ball are about to go into full swing, and most of the responsibility is falling squarely on me. I have a feeling the store is going to be insane that night; we have more reservations than the store across town (according to Alex's figures) and much less floorspace. That said, we have well over 1,000 free-with-purchase posters to hand out, so corporate is expecting us to be bursting at the seams. Only 21 days to go...
