"I bought you flowers, so you buy me food!"

Today I was shuffling through my email inbox and I found this:
The following is an e-mail from the past, composed on Saturday, October 17, 2009, and sent via FutureMe.org

((Colour my life with the Chaos of Trouble.))

This is extremely weird for me to write this.

Well, I'm watching Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Episode 102. You know, where the Vongola Tenth family launch their attack on the Millefiore Melone Base.

Haha, bet you're like "WHUD?". Because you'd have probably found a new fandom to go into. If you (and I) recall, before this was Prince of Tennis for nine months or so. Then before that... God. I don't want to remind myself. Oh, the horror D:

Anyway. I'm wondering - did you get into Trip Science? Hope you did. Well, knowing Su Wai she's going to spam your phone to try to get your notes; I strongly suggest you ignore them.

Oh, oh, and I hope you're still RPing Oshitari Yuuko and Rose Weasley, Hope Yuushi isn't pissing you off too much. Even if he is, go ahead and smack him! ~

Heehee, it's actually 10:43 pm. The Brazillian GP's at 1:00 am Singapore time. Can you remember that Lary's obsessed with Ice Man. Hmm. Wonder what will become of him. Lol.

Well. I'm going to watch more Reborn! whilst I can, so, uh, ... Well. Cheers to the future; and beyond.

((And these Rainbow Dreams of you and I,
Lost, behind a cloak of darkness.))

This is, firstly, really epic. I remember after I sent the email, I was thinking "Hmm, I'd probably freak out my future self when she receives it..." BUT HECK I THINK THIS IS WAYY COOL OKAY :D

Anyway, firstly, the above quote was from the movie (500) Days of Summer which I'm assuming I had recently watched at the time. And for those who haven't GO GO GO IT IS AWESOME ESPECIALLY THE PART WHERE THE GUY SCREAMS PENIS IN THE MIDDLE OF A PARK LOLOLOLOL I was really in love with the movie for a very long time. It's been, personally, one of the best movies in recent years. I remember when I first saw the title I was really skeptical about watching, but it turned out unexpectedly good.

Also, lol at the otaku lingo I used XD I think I was watching Tenipuri for the second time, and got bored halfway (NO RIKKAI = NO POINT) so that's why I entered the KHR fandom. After which it was sort of Tenipuri again, then D. Gray Man and my temporary obsession with Kanda (Sometimes I digust myself, really; he's quite annoying, like how he's hogging the entire glacial-moving storyline leaving no time for other characters then again, no Lenalee, so maybe i shouldn't complain, kufufufu)

AND YESH, PAST SELF, I FOUND A NEW FANDOM. JUST ONE THAT YOU PROBABLY LEAST EXPECTED, REALLY.

I distinctly recall how much I hated K-Pop. Honestly, some elements of it do disgust me to this day this, incidentally, includes Wonder Girls and Nobody - need I elaborate about how annoying the song is, and how it's completely over-played and over-rated? But honestly it is not all as bad as I expected and yes, screw this I can be biased as hell now I may regret ever setting foot in the fandom but until that day comes, it's just rainbow, unicorns and Jonghyun and, really, I miss English music from 2008-2009 ): I miss The Black Parade MCR, I miss Panic! At the Disco with Nine in the Afternoon, I miss Muetya Buena (WHO REMEMBERS HER DESERVES A COOKIE I THINK SHE'S HOT KAY)

I remember I was really excited about F1 last year, of course, this was partly mostly due to Hiillary's influence and how infatuated she was with Kimi Raikkonen (Or however you spell his name, can't be bothered) but really this year I couldn't have given a damn. Besides I was watching Idol Sports Day :D

I think I should send myself another future email :D I really think this idea was pure genius, it's a great way to reflect on your past aspirations and look into the future.
