I've been fighting a three prong battle with various forces the past few weeks.
-With the Prius I've been fighting a hard fight against the body shop (Matthews Auto Collision) because I had some bad situations with the 3 rental cars I was given over the course of the week and a half it was in the shop, and I also got my car back last friday only to find, in some areas, MORE damage than when it went into the shop and a really shotty job with the replacement parts put on the car! So I'm speaking with my insurance rep sometime today about it (because Chris picked the car up and didn't know where to look for damages on friday and because of the weekend and holiday this has been delayed resolution), and this hopefully won't end in a legal dispute, but it might.
-Doctors....always a fun fight. When I left Marywood I lost a bill for a local hospital (Moses Taylor) and I know how much it was for, but because its tied in with the doctors the hospital supposedly has no way of knowing how to contact the 3rd party to know how to pay my bill is since all docs go through a different collection service. I also have been having issues with my asthma, I went to a local pulminologist and because I've tried every drug on the market and albuterol and prednizone (I only use that one if I'm getting really bad) are the only ones that help me, and he couldn't see a reason from the initial visit, which I was having trouble breathing in his office, and he said I was faking it. That I couldn't be having that much trouble breathing with all the modern drugs that're out there that he could prescribe me. (my last doc told me I might have an asthma mimicer which wouldn't be helped by the drugs to treat asthma since it isn't asthma ((so I'm going back to see him, but he's an hour and 30 min away)); my doc before that told me I have a few slow agonizing years left before I die from this) .....Geeez, it's amazing how much opinions can vary on something doctors aren't sure about. I certainly don't feel like I'm dying but I need some help controlling this because it can get out of hand and does affect my quality of life.
-The final fight is with my school. I hate that hell hole, and they're fighting me in regards to a lot of stuff. First is my grades.....they haven't sent me my grades and won't tell me what they are unless I fax them over ID, which is understandable I guess, but there's been other complications......
I've also been in a small amusing fight with the book store about shipping my online course book which they wouldn't do at first....and then they took my card info over the phone and never told me specifically how much the book was for like a professional business should, and when I spoke with who I thought was the manager there was zero appology for what I was going through. I got the book but they just wrote me a really nasty email all in caps and underlined (I'm assuming they're yelling at me?) :-) Simple course of action, I never shop there again. :-)
