well its been a fucking long time since i've written in here. the melbourne life is just soooooooooooo wonderful!!
ok, so i dont have the internet at my place so im sitting in a "cafe" being the cool kid with my high boots, dark eyes and my so called "emo" bag sitting in the back corner not being suss AT ALL.
point is. i am good. uni is probably the best thing that has ever happened to me. without actually having to do much theory, i have learnt more than if i ever dared to go elsewhere. i have learnt how to do naturalistic style of acting the RIGHT way, i've learnt how to tap again which is fucking exciting and Tanya, our last dance teacher who has left us to dance in the chorus of the upcoming Guys and Dolls musical, supposedly has put me into the "advanced" class for next term!
and i quote: "you're an interesting one kellie. like, i can see a lot of really great technique in you but its almost like you apologise before you dance or do something. you need to let go. who gives a fuck (yes she said fuck) what other people think of you, i wanna see you push yourself and if you dont do it, i will."
hmm... seems like a threat but nah, shes incredible. what i would do to have her body. fuck.
and the most exciting thing i have learnt so far (i think its exciting anyway) is how to sing without damaging my vocal chords and have found myself to do things i never thought i could do! FUCK... like... ugh. best singing teacher ever. she teaches Rob Mills too... which.. isn't really something to brag about in my opinion coz he shouldnt be in WICKED... but anyway. shes amazing.
everyone in the course is amazing also. Margot (polo), Martin, Tanya, Shona... dare i say it with her "alexander tech.", Lez and Nathan.

Then theres the beautiful friends i have made. majority of them being gay but not one person in the class thinks they are better than everyone else, no one judges anyone on their acting, singing or dancing, and to save the best till last; everyone is HOT. swear to god. there is not one unattractive person in the class.. fuckin love it!
ok so i'm gonna go. have to find john so we can go find some awesome clubs.
