Goodbye twelve, goodbye thirteen, hello...
Another performance over, another project on the way. This one being the fantastic 'Songs and Scenes" which is pretty self explanitory.
Apparently the show hasn't been finalised yet which makes me incredibly nervous and is already planned to be 2 and ahalf hours long.
As ensemble pieces go though, some of the songs we're doing are:
Montage (hello 12, hello 13, hello love) - A Chorus Line
What i did for love (finale) - A Chorus Line
Move on - Sunday in the Park with George
Bitch of living - Spring awakening
Ohmigod you guys! - Legally Blonde the musical
so fucking excited.
also after the last semester of training to become a real actor (not that cliche Acting with a capital 'A') we finally get to do scenes. Some are funny, some are intense and some are just completely fucked in the head.
Speaking of fucked, about a week ago i had this strange pulling sensation down my left hamstring and after a visit to the physio turns out i've ruptured a disk in my lower back and has caused my leg to go into a spazz. after some excrusiating massage theropy on my lower back i was told that was not allowed to sit down. the only things i can do is stand up or lye down. you know how much shit i get at uni for that? let alone being called a thumb.WTF. UGH. but yeah, after my last visit yesterday my back has now been completely covered in bandages forcing me to keep my back straight and also making sleep incredibly difficult.
hows the roommate you may ask? he's good. it's starting to become noticeable that we spend too much time together on account of the way we treat each other like family. which is good i might add.
to be honest, thats all i have for now so yeah.
oh yeah, Popera (Jacqueline Levitas) the musical is still on the way.
