Made it back to C-town last weekend with my lovely driving buddy, who was kind enough to drive out with me and then fly back to MN. It was really fun to hang out, catch up and show her around. My adorable nephew is still doing well and gets cuter all the time. Break was intense, crazy, and I didn't get to nearly all the things I had planned to do and people I was supposed to see. But I guess that shouldn't be too much of a surprise. It's nice to be back in my house here with more space, but different kinds of stress.
My slacking on posts will likely continue for the next 4 months or so until I am done with school. In that time, I will be finishing my thesis, taking classes, working with a group to design and create a big exhibit for one of the museums, writing exhibit-related grants for my internship, and applying for jobs. This semester is going to be nutso.
Looks like winter finally made it to C-town, although the snowfall is still embarrassingly little. I hope that we can get at least a little sledding in this semester.
Time to go print off stuff for a meeting with my professors, and then get crackin’ on the two chapters of my thesis I have to hand in on Monday. Wheee!
