(no subject)
Our house is currently surrounded by chaos - our landlords are having all the windows replaced. It will be nice and draft-free once everything's done, but I will be glad when these guys are done stomping around the house and creating dust and dirt everywhere.
I'm in between busy weekends. Last weekend was our trip to Glens Falls to see the Adirondack Stampede Rodeo, which was everything I had hoped for and more. I will have some pictures posted soon, and hopefully more description when the hammering has stopped and lets my brain think a little more clearly.
I'm flying to Minneapolis on Thursday for a long weekend for an early Thanksgiving and to spend some time with my family. My brother and his fiance will also be in town that weekend, and I will also be going along for her wedding dress shopping. (Side note: it's funny that I've now visited or at least heard of all the places she's looking since Cara was so thorough in her dress search.) And I'll get to visit my grandparents, which is now one of my main reasons for being excited to go back to MN. My grandpa had a stroke on Saturday and is in the hospital. He's doing very well and things seem to be coming back (movement, recognition, speech) fairly quickly, but it's still pretty scary and I'm really glad that I get to see him soon.
Ok, time to get out of here and get some errands run before class at 10. Hope everyone had a good weekend!!
