(no subject)
My parents called about an hour ago, on their way home from a wedding. Someone I've known since preschool, but haven't talked to in years (our moms are friends). Sounds like they saw several people I haven't seen since high school. It's fun to hear about people like that every once in awhile, find out what they're up to these days. Lots of marriages and engagements, as usual these days.
Took the evening off from work - took a nap, then flipped between the 1st world series game and various other stuff on tv. It was nice to have a night off - these days I feel like I should be doing work all the time, so I have to make sure I take some time for myself every once in awhile. Makes me really look forward to graduation when I don't feel guilty if I'm not doing some kind of work.
There's a chill in the air and it feels like the snow could start any day now. Can it really be the end of October already?
