[fic] Falling from Heaven (CI prequel): Chapter 2
This has been sitting on my hard drive for the past three weeks waiting to be edited one last time and until now I hadn't been able to pull myself away from LOGH which makes everything I ever write seems like a bad joke. And because I'm not entirely out of that universe, I apologize in advance if this turns out to be the biggest crap of the year

TBH I can't write an LOGH fic even if I wanted to. It requires the level of intelligence and maturity I don't possess. I could perhaps write them when they were like..12 LOL After 13 these two boys would probably be smarter than I am. *cries* I'll just degraded them into lovesick, childish commanders that the VF casts are and the galactic lovebirds are much much bigger than this (LOL I keep imagining His Excellency watching the VF Mafia lords going:
Kircheis: "Hai, Reinhardo sama. ^__^!"
(Gosh I love that scene. Reinhardo sama can never keep his mouth shut when he needs to bitch about something! And Kircheis always spoil the brat with that godforsaken smile ^___^ thinking "but Reinhardo sama really can't help it, he's just being his glorious adorable awesome self." *rolls eyes* oh the lovebirds. Please, you'll give me cavities!)
The weirdest thing though, is that watching Kircheis x Reinhard makes me want to pick up Yoh x Fei seriously, because I don't see myself literally capable of writing KxR but they do remind me of what I had wished YxF would have been. But then that would be a different Yoh I suppose. The Yoh I see now would price his own stubbornness over Fei. Kircheis would be conflicted but still throw everything away for Reinhard in a heartbeat, even his beliefs, and still stand as proud as a peacock behind that man. But man, I would just love to give Fei a Kircheis. The again,Fei is not half the man Reinhard is and that would be such a waste of Kircheis XDDD Big dilemma.
LOL Twilight? If I were capable of liking Twilight enough to write a fic on it you wouldn't BE reading anything I write in the first place!

I think you are intelligent. And the guy who wrote the series isn't a genius either. So who says you can't write it?
And OMG... I have never seen that. O_o I mean you are right. Reinhard and Siegfried are somehow like Fei and Yoh... Somehow. I don't know. I don't like Reinhard because he is too spoiled. And sometimes he is just so annoying. -_-
Ok... Write a story about KxR and then write something about YxF. xD Just do it! That would make me really happy. >_< Because I think it is clear to see if you had fun writing something. And I think a story abou KxR would make you extreme happy. And writing other stuff can always give inspirations for new stories.

Are you at 52 of the main 110 then? Or are those 52 from Gaiden? The newer films - I hope those are My conquest is the sea of atars and overture to a new war not Golden Wings? Gosh I hate the drawing in Golden Wings =_=. I would recommend you finish 110 though then watch Gaiden, because Gaiden just makes you understand so much more about KxR and gives you a trie sense of the tragedy that happened in ep 26. I enjoyed the 110 so much for its supporting characters as well as the main protagonists and season three just makes you want to cry and cry and cry while season 2 can be difficult to watch because of the battle scene. I do love Vermillion though. I mean, wow that battle's ending was such a kick. But the real pain comes after watching Gaiden because here you see exactly what Reinhard had lost and it damn near breaks your heart.
I actually expect a lot of ppl to not like His Excellency XD He is very Mikhail and without fics people tend to hate Mik for his arrogance. I love His Majesty's sharp toungue though and his arrogance is such a nice contrast with Kircheis's humble and mature nature. You will love how entitled Reinhard is in Gaiden and how Kircheise can always wind him around his fingers like a kindergarten teacher dealing with a terrible two. The dynamics of this pairing is just so intense once you see Gaiden. Because you know Reinhard stands on top of the universe and worshipped by all but emotionally he's useless against Kircheis! I respect Reinhard a lot more in season 3 and Gaiden but the truth is, the character I truly have a serious crush over is Kircheis. That man gets more and more handsome the more you watch Gaiden and damn he kicks ass. And I love the entire gang of Admirals, Reuental, Mittermyer, Oberstein and Bittenfeld especially. Oh but then we have Kessler and Muller too! And freuline Mariendorf is an absolute joy to watch!
No really I can't write LOGH XD Come on I don't understand half the battle formations and I can hardly understand Yang's tea boy explanations on things. I had to watch 110 3 times to get the meaning behind some things they said. I'm too simpleminded to write LOGH. These guys have ideals and complicated political POVs which make them as big as they are. I'm afraid all I can do is turn them into lovesick domestic boys that would be an insult and I don't ever want to see Reinhard or Kircheis become just that. I've been readin some fanfics lately and I have to say, I bow to these ppl too! Even my Feodora isn't as smart or as strong as Mareindorf.
But srsly if you really want I suppose you can pause to watch Gaiden now that you're at 52 although I liked to see Gaiden as a huge reward after the 110 marathon and it's
totally worth it.

I just love how he has no shame in expressing "Kircheis is MINE!!" *growls* And oh how the poor guy panicked when he lost it and yelled at Kircheis in ep 25. It was like "Shit did I just yell at Kircheis?? >_<"

Reinhard von Lohengramm is somehow a normal name. There is a opera called 'Lohengrin'. Maybe a adaptation? But 'Gramm' is the normal gram... 1 gram Lohengramm please.
Siegfried Kircheis is a bit... funny. We have a harpsichordist called Friedrich Kircheis. But Kircheis means literally church ice. But the way they speak it it sounds more like Kir(s)cheis and this means cherry ice (cream). Gosh, I love this name. xD
They used normal names for the characters. But the way they speak them is just sooooo cute. >_<
Nope, not the main 110. >_< My first 'contact' with this series was with the new manga. I really like it. So I thought I should give the anime a chance too. And I downloaded the anime and watched it... and I was a bit confused that the characters are not introduced and so on. xD And later I learned 'Hey, you haven't watched the original anime. You have watched the OVA.' *cough* But I started the 110 episodes already. ;)
Erm, I have watched 'Overture to a new War' and 'Golden Wings'. And... I don't like Golden Wings either. xD But I will first watch the original anime before I start the other film.
xD The problem is, we know a lot more about Reinhard than Mikhail. We don't know if Mikhail really is arrogant or just loves to play games. Reinhard is... Reinhard. xD But Kircheis is my favorite from the series.
(I hope) You don't know how the mafia really works and you write Finder fics. xD And these fics are just awesome. Soooooo... Write it! Do it! And hey I wouldn't hate it if you would turn the guys into lovesich domestic boys. But I think you wouldn't be satisfied with that, right? xD
And I think everybody loves Feodora the way she is. She has her own individual attributes. And I think Mik and Yoh would become really angry if you would compare Feodora with another woman.
I will watch the first 110 episodes and then I will watch the other episodes and films again. ;)

Ok wait, I'm confused. So you have been watching Gaiden (52 episodes backstory of when they were young?) + read Manga (it's available in German?) + Sea of Stars and Golden wings? And that would explain A LOT why you think I can write LOGH. Because, really, I read the first two chapters of the manga and it's the simplified, girly/kiddy version of 110 and an insult of ht main anime. It has not 1/10th of the shit in anime that is so bloody heavy I need to sue them for not coming with free botox shots because, damn I got wrinkles from it. And the 52 episodes of Gaiden were amazing but they lack the political aspect of the main 110. But from reading this I'm not sure if you have watched Gaiden because you said you haven't seen these scenes from the screen caps I showed you? I'm confused >_<
Seriously though, do watch 110 and stick to it even though it can be hard on your brain at times. It's really mind-blowing in scale and the side characters are so mature and respectable. I can see why you have such a view of Reinhard. Because in Gaiden and manga he is severely lacking (well, he's just a young brat in Gaiden and manga as far as I can see he suffered by the hands of a female mangaka who truly lacks the skill to illustrate respectable men - OMG Mittermeyer and Reuental are horrible in the manga *cries* ). His Excellency Reinhard Von Lohengramm is a man deserving of his admiral's loyalty, and what drives him will break your heart to pieces until the very end (I understand the manga deals with only 2 volumes out of 10 of the original novel?). It's extremely heavy and yet highly emotional. No girlish stuff,no fan service, just plain serious mature men being too smart and too big for your average anime. I always feel that these are the men who make me feel humble in their presence and if men should ever have the right to dominate me, they'd have to be at least half the men the admirals are with at least 1/10th of Mien Kaiser Reinhard's guts and pride. "Sieg Mein Kaiser!" *salutes* I will be honored to even serve as your maid, Your Majesty.

Actually I always tell those who have read CI that LOGH is full of different versions of Feodora XD But Freuline Mariendorf is probably what Feodora would be if I were more intelligent lol I can't create a woman that bold or that smart. And Tanaka Yoshiki is such an awesome man because you can tell how much he respects woman by his creation of them. I love love love everything about the main 110 episodes. I mean I've never found an anime that empowers women like this. While I don't love all of them, I respect all of them and they were never belittle.

Well, I can't compare with the 52, because I haven't seen those. But I've watched the first 26 of the 110, and I can tell you that yes, oh Hell YES, they are complicated D: ! I've had to go back and re-watch stuff several times. I got headaches. I couldn't do more than two episodes in a row. And when I got to the 26th, my brain said, "Okay, that's it, we stop here! If you even try to go on, I'll quit on you!" ... It's been a week or two now, so I'll get back in to it anyway :P , but sloooowly :D !

You know, I have a feeling that Gaiden will bore me to tears :P Quantum Physics is my thing: as difficult as it is beautiful (seriously, my two favourite classes in Uni - I studied Physics - were Restricted Relativity, and Quantum Mechanics O.o I did great on these, and completely failed very easy classes that just didn't grab my interest. I'm a bit of a masochist, I think :P ) So anyway: pretty for the sake of prettiness only lasts a few minutes with me. My pretty must also be either complicated or dangerous (or both!) for me to stick with it :D (Like, you know, Fei Long :P or Yumichika up there.)

I don't know. I am feeling just a bit... funny that I don't have any (serious) problems to watch LoGH. I have watched the first 12 episodes in a row... So something isn't right with me. xD Or maybe... some kind of an alien is living in my brain, giving me normal thoughts... O_O OMG, what is happening to me? It is just... a few months ago I have watched the 52 episodes OVA and I had so many problems with it. The topic, the characters... It was so hard to understand. And now, after a lot of things have happened (to me) it is so clear now. Somehow really scary. xD Who knows what is living in me right now. >_
