Nov 03, 2013 08:35

I must have said sorry for a dozen times for not updating for so long, but at least I can guarantee you that I will finish this fic as long as there are still people willing to read. For those who are still with me, thank you so much for your support, i wouldn't have gotten this far without you. Without further rambling, here it is, the new chapter ( Read more... )

You SO need to go pro, you know.
I'm trying but my muse is obsessed with Mik x Fei and she won't let me write anything else. *cries* I'm beginning to think this could be my one hit wonder as I can't seem to see anything clearly right now when I'm writing my original. Hopefully it's because I'm still stuck in VF realm. I'm waiting to see what happens when I finish CI.

You know what, every time a great writer gives me such a praise I always read the comment thinking, "Damn, this comment is more well-written than my entire fucking chapter." How can you guys get such a heartwarming-message across in a few sentences? It takes me one effing arc to do just that!

I'm so glad you enjoyed that scene between Yoh and Fei. If there was one person who could see most clearly how Fei Long has changed, it was Yoh. And I have a feeling this is what Yoh has been wanting to see all along, from the very first time he saw Fei sulk in jail, and then seeing a glimpse of how beautiful he could be when he gains back his focus and self-esteem. It's almost as if he had refused to leave Fei's side because Fei hasn't quite reached that point (which FnR has decided to blatantly prove me wrong from the very first chapter!). To me YxF is almost a purer kind of love. It's very touching when I think of it that way. That said, Fei Long ALWAYS win in the end anyway. :D I just can't wait to write the Fei and Asami conclusion at the very end!

Mikhail chose her for the same reasons he chose you
And as a Yoh fan, you do know Mikhail so much better than many Mik fan! Fei is not wrong though, he's also a masochistic crazy fuck (just like Yoh - which is why Yoh and Feodora will do just fine!)

But yeah, some more horrible times in perspective for him.
Haven't you heard Terry? One can't read me without expecting such angst and cruelty. I'm so happy my friends know me so well!

And Philip Toh - the cold, dark, utterly empty shell of a man, ravaged by bitterness and hungering for nothing but revenge
Ok, when this is over you just have to write me some marketing tag lines for this, as you managed to describe him perfectly with one sentence and I had taken at least five chapters to explain this character. But gosh, I do love villains.

Thank you so much for stopping by and give me this amazing support. I shall come back to this every time I think I suck and continue writing even if it really does suck. LOL But that's all a writer need, isn't it? Sort of a permission to just write what we bloody want to write.

P.S. Annie is on the school swimming, girls football team and she is the captain of the under 11 basketball team. They occasionally send her over for cross country and is trying to get her back on the tennis court so she can be on the tennis team. She's in a very small school and there aren't many kids who are as competitive or love every single sport like her. BTW, her team came second place on Sunday. She nearly died coughing and from the high fever on the championship match and they had to replace her with another player. She couldn't shoot straight any longer even when she had so many chances. I think we could have won. But then she had just played 3 matches with 38.1 fever, I'm surprised I didn't have to take her to the hospital instead of home at the end. I'm so proud of her spirit though, she just wouldn't give up and she's only 10!

"Damn, this comment is more well-written than my entire fucking chapter."

Nope. The comment is just a reflection of the chapter ;)

I have a feeling this is what Yoh has been wanting to see all along, from the very first time he saw Fei sulk in jail, and then seeing a glimpse of how beautiful he could be when he gains back his focus and self-esteem.

I'd say not when he saw him sulk, but when he saw him angry at the prospect that Asami might get his hands on Baishe. That was when Yoh first "saw colour in his eyes" as he says in NT0. And then Fei Long got out of jail, and reclaimed and rebuilt Baishe in a handful of years, and how could someone like Yoh not be admirative of that? (Of course, this is the whole plot of the fic I'm desperately supposed to be working on :P )

which FnR has decided to blatantly prove me wrong from the very first chapter!

Hence why this YohxFei fan hates FnR with a passion =_= Established canon characterisation? What established canon characterisation?? Let's take those awesome characters and strip them of everything which makes them who and what they are! Argh!

To me YxF is almost a purer kind of love. It's very touching when I think of it that way.

Ha! You're getting there :D !

I just can't wait to write the Fei and Asami conclusion at the very end!

*purrs in anticipated delight*

Fei is not wrong though, he's also a masochistic crazy fuck (just like Yoh - which is why Yoh and Feodora will do just fine!)

Yup. They are all masochistic crazy fucks, which is why they all belong together, even Akihito, but NOT Asami, who is sadistic, not masochistic. You'd think masochists would be a sadist's wet dream, but he can barely control Akihito, he completely lost control of Fei Long in High Loft, he could never hope to control Mikhail or Feodora, and even Yoh ended up escaping his control in the end. Poor Asami, missing out on all the fun :D

One can't read me without expecting such angst and cruelty.

Oh, I know! Then again, I'm no better :P

She's in a very small school and there aren't many kids who are as competitive or love every single sport like her.

I have a feeling that even in a big school, she'd still stand out in that regard ;)

I'm so proud of her spirit though, she just wouldn't give up and she's only 10!

Isn't it a great feeling, to be amazed by those kids we gave birth to :) ? For me it's like, "Are you sure this is mine? Because I don't think I could conceive such an awesome person..."

I'd say not when he saw him sulk, but when he saw him angry
This is yet another example of the failure to explain myself in English (or Thai which could be worse =_=). I meant the the contrast from the lifeless Fei and then seeing the fight in him. You are right, how could someone like Yoh not admire it. Fei Long is the complete opposite of Yoh - he's reckless, undisciplined, unpredictable and unreasonable all for the sake of his passion and yet his existence is so damn addictive. He breaks every rule Yoh builds around himself, continuously showing everyone that there is something else worth living for than power and righteousness. A part of us all including Yoh and Mikhail who love Fei probably want to see him win and find happiness in the end. Because if he doesn't, then the world is an ugly ugly place, isn't it?..thanks to YA that never happened and it never will or else that 3some would never come into existence *sighs*

You are so right about Asami not being able to control these people, but I think he does have control over Aki. It may seem like Aki does what he wants, but in the end the boy always come back after a fuck (or a kiss), not only that but Aki demands no explanation afterwards either. Akihito also requires no commitment which is perfect for Asami who doesn't want to commit and share who he is with Aki. He keeps Aki like a dog. How long have they been together and yet how much Asami actually allows Aki to know about him? Fei, on the other hand, demands it all and he's someone who may fuck up Asami's life overnight over a bad PMS or something. Asami can't keep anything that requires more attention and affection than a goldfish, and Aki is sort of like that because he will take care of himself and needs nothing more from Asami other than being fed yoghurt regularly. This is ok in the beginning but she has dragged this relationship on with no real growth for too long it has become so repetitive. That's the reason I want to write AxA here. They need to get somewhere and Aki needs to learn to stop being Asami's goldfish and follow through with his threat.

P.S. I agree. I have no idea I can make such a strong kid! The joy of motherhood!

Yes! Yes yes yes! They are so opposite it's almost ridiculous, though it also makes them an excellent complement to each other, especially in work. In love... It makes things rather complicated, starting with the fact that Fei Long can't even see what's right under his nose :P

It may seem like Aki does what he wants, but in the end the boy always come back after a fuck (or a kiss), not only that but Aki demands no explanation afterwards either.

Yeah, you're right, Asami has Akihito far too well-trained =_= But as I said in another comment, I think that's the whole point of VF, so... Yeah.

This is ok in the beginning but she has dragged this relationship on with no real growth for too long it has become so repetitive.

That's because you're looking for the wrong kind of growth. If you start looking for, well, un-growth in Akihito's character, it becomes chillingly obvious. Aki is falling apart, shedding everything that matters to him, one bit at a time. Things are dragging out, yes, but his destruction is steadily going forward all right.
