(I’m a total lurker, so I don’t comment often, eheheh…)

Since I enjoyed Crimson Spell, practically everyone recommended I read Viewfinder as well. Unfortunately when I started reading, I was (and still am) uncomfortable and unconvinced by the two main characters and their… um, relationship. But along came Fei Long, this intriguing character who was both beautiful and broken in so many ways to make things interesting, so I kept reading. To be honest, I got pretty excited during NT when this trickster like Russian mobster decided to gatecrash the exchange and throw everything to chaos. (Needless to say I was disappointed with how that ended. What kind of shit-house conclusion was that?!) Anyway, when I finally poked the fandom, I was genuinely surprised with how rare this pairing is.

The point of all that drivel was to emphasize just how wonderful it was to stumble upon and read such a well written, thought out and in-depth story about two characters that, for all intents and purposes, appear to have been cast aside and abandoned by their creator. The fact you have persevered with writing this over such a long time is incredible. I hope you will continue this for a while yet! ^__^

For someone who doesn't comment often, it's an honor to recieve this comment indeed! I would have to agree with on AxA ..um..relationship and also that the only people I read VF for are Fei Long, Mikhail and Yoh. And you should have seen me throw an epic tantrum at that shit ending because I couldn't possibly put all those disappointment into English words. This pairing really isn't that rare though. During NT there were a lot of MxF fics and fanart but if you conpared it to AxA stuff, they're pretty rare, yes =_=. Now though Fei Long has almost ceased to exist in the fandom due to the infamous 3some, then the novel (which managed to piss off MxF fans, disappoint YxF fans, and shota-ed a lot of of ppl out of the fandom completely w/ FxTao all at the same time.) It's not a good period for Fei but I love this pairing too much to abandon them, even though I have to say I've pretty much gave up on hoping thier creator can or even want to do them justice in the future. =_=

But all that is to thank you for letting me know how much you enjoyed this pairing and this story. This helps me to go one and makes the journey really worth while to see that I'm not alone in loving them ^_^ I hope to not disappoint the next chapter.
