Title: Yours

Warning: I think me writing Yoh is enough warning to the Yx F fans, but this is my view of him that I like a lot. This story takes place just after Fei Long was released from prison, and Yoh has yet to discover his feelings for Fei. For my fellow Mik x Fei fans, no Mik this time (but I am still wholeheartedly at your

it's funny how you manage to make Yoh a completely obedient subordinate and exceedingly arrogant at the same time. i think his morning absence, even if legitimate for security task, should have been announced - hence it was Yoh's way of bringing home to his dear boss that he wan't expendable.. emotional blackmail, much?
thx for the fic! i'll catch up with y'all and your worx, i didn't even open my friends page for weeks/months. *hugz*

LOL, finally 1 thing we both agree about men XD
y'know, i myself wonder if being that kind of arrogant'd kill him in real chinese triad surroundings.. same as "how does Fei show his leadership", or just being an organied crime boss, but fine and educated, coming from a rich family but in hongkong etc etc. i wish i could read good information about how "those" chinese thugs are, the boss and a high subordinate like Yoh - i don't mean the low-level ones with the cig at the lips, nor the xtra fat old perv ones you both see in cheap movies.. i think i can picture Mik and russians better, being european.
btw - nothing to do with it, but in my late dwellings in found this book cover: my own legend: "Fei Long & Mik, in their early 20' or late teens, if they weren't into crime, just normal guys". XD
pl nunn's cover artyeah.. Alex.. i read the bits info, and commented in feilove. very sad. i remember when del had a crisis, and wasn't it alex who first ( ... )

Yes, she only had time to invite me over, and then right away fell sick and never reappeared online. So I had a strong feeling she must at the very least be extremely ill, because I couldn't imagine that she wouldn't have at least sent me a PM in all those months. So no, I never went there, but her gesture still freed me in my head and I was able to find my own way out of my crisis. It was still awful when my worst fears were confirmed though...

*snort* The only one I could maybe see in that list is "depressed", but not in a "sits around and mopes" way, more in a "is driven to suicide because can't find a way to reconcile all sides of his life that matter to him" way. And that might arguably be more psychotic than depressed.
And yes, you're absolutely right, the morning disappearance was 100% emotional blackmail. thank you for picking that up XD
I could feel I was missing something about this while I was reading, but I couldn't pinpoint it. Tnen when I read Portis's comment, I was "Aha! Of course!" Well-done ;)

Well, I do feel sorry for him, just like I feel sorry for Fei Long, or for Akihito: because they are genuinely suffering, and partly out of no fault of their own. That said, no amount of suffering will ever make anyone deserve anyone else (creepy idea, really), and a truly selfless person would have chosen a side long ago, instead of keeping on deceiving the person they profess to love while betraying the one they profess to serve O.o ! (because Asami is right after all: the whole messy end of NT could have been avoided if Yoh had obeyed Asami and delivered Akihito to him. Huge betrayal of Asami's interests, that.)
to the point that you just can't talk about him without slapping a "poor" in front of Yoh or else it makes you heartless. My Yoh is looking rather nonplussed that anyone would think of him as "poor Yoh" :P Even in RISE, where I really had life beat him ( ... )
