HAPPY MONDAY IT IS!

I got here on Saturday, but haven't had much time to come post a update.
Have I mentioned how much I love this city?

**WARNING THIS IS JUST A BIT OF A RANT (but funny all the same...)**
It was a interesting start once i got here.. to say the least. I rented a car for 3 weeks right. so I get to the rental place.. and get this guy.. That i swear to god, barley spoke English. So Im checking in to get my car and sign crap, not understanding half the stuff hes really saying lol~ he hands me the keys and tells me where my car is.
I go out there and the car he said was mine was SOOOOOOO not the car that I had booked (even though they say "this car or similar...on the website)
I was like "uhhhh? WTF?" it was a Grand Marquis Grey... like the Grandpa Mobile extraordinaire!
So I go back into the desk, and was like.. "this isn't the car that i booked.. or even similar to the car I booked (which was a Pontiac G8)
he was all "Oh Im sorry... we upgraded you.. we have no more of the ones you booked left."
"what?! but i booked this like 4 months ago!"
"Im sorry miss..."
" well why can't i have the red one beside it, or the Crystal 300?"
"the red one is a sports car.. its like $300 a day..."
"what?.. well give me a deal... its your guys screw up... I'm not renting a grandpa car!"
so he goes to see what he could do...comes back.. and both my sister and I hear him clear as day... say "We can give you the sports car for $50 cheaper a day then what you have"
so i was like Score!
go up to the counter.. and hes totaling everything.. and i look at the total and its like $2000 more then my original price.. and he kept saying "ohhh this is such a good deal.. oooh this is such a good deal"
"WTF?... you clearly said it was going to be cheaper.. how the hell is is my total more... and not only that... i have to sigh extra 4 waivers because its a sports car?!"
"no its $50.00 a day upgrade.. which is a good deal because they are $300 a day normally"
(at this point my sister was about to blow up.. and turn mega bitch.. LOL i could see it in her eyes)
"Uh i don't want that..."
he just looks at me like i killed his car.
"can i talk to your manager please. you clearly don't understand what you are doing.. I want a CAR that is a full-size like the one i asked for.. i don't care if i have to wait a hour"
so the manager comes out.. clearly pissed at his employee for making this living hell for me lol!
tells me to hold on for a couple more minutes and goes out to the car park.
He comes back and says a full size was just returned, they have to wash it and then we can take it.

Then we got lost LOL. too much talking.. not enough paying attention to where we're going.. ended up 1/2 was to Richmond, and were like.. uh? this isn't Vancouver!
so we pulled over and called Lucas (her bf) to guide us back to where we know where we are. and he wasn't making sense.. and we're like OMG we are SCREWED!!! so i pull out of the parking lot.. and about to go back on the highway.. and i look at my sister....
"OMG....! I have a fricken nav system in the trunk!"
*Double Adams sister facepalm moment of the year*
Bahahaha!
so we pull back in to the lot and get the nav out and get it all set up... and got back to the city no problem LOL.
. We went for a nice walk up Commercial Drive and back. My sisters new place is Prime location! I love it so much. Cute little apartment 2 blocks from Commercial (use to take us like a half our to get there by transit)

Yesterday we went and did a bit of shopping to get ready for the Brits LOL. Had to go buy a portable bed to sleep on, as her apartment only had a one bedroom. Also bought a nice hoody sweater and a couple tote bags just in case we need more room for the trip next week.
As we were driving home got a Text from Chris saying him and supernatural67 are hanging out in London. and Sister didn't know how to text with my blackberry and i was driving so i couldn't reply.. so i was like "Here send a Voice note!" and got it read and we both talked into the phone and sent it. LOL it was so random and fun. they giggled on the other end and sent us one back.
once we got back to the apartment, I spent 2 hours planning our Ferry rides over to Washington state on the 31st as well as plugging a whole bunch of addresses into the navigation system for the road trip.
I loooooove trip planning LOL. its like my new crack.
And here I am now. just chilling at my sisters. (her work had asked her to come in today and tomorrow as they are really busy, even though she is suppose to be on holidays.) Im going for lunch with a fellow SPN fan-boy this afternoon, he had moved to Van last week from Nova Scotia (and is also coming to the con with us) it will be our first meeting!! after chatting online for close to 3 years! I'm kinda really excited!
He lives pretty close to my sister too. so yey \o/
Then at 7pm tonight the Brits arrive!! :D :D Chris says hes going to be hammered when they land. hes hates flying LOL! I can't fricken wait. seriously CANNNOT believe 2 of my best friends in the world are going to be here in 10 hours! I'm bouncing!!
