FC - Train Trip
Alright, so day 1 of this rather insanely long trip that I'm taking starting on the train. Well, at the train station before I even get on the train. I met up with Sardonis and his mother; a nice lady if a bit eccentric,but then again. Who isn't these days. But, she bought me lunch so she got on my good side real fast. Best way to my heart when ya first meet me? Buy me good food. And damn that burger was good.
Sard and I headed for the train around... 1:15ishin the after noon as our train left at 2:25 so we had a good headwind before we go on the train and stuff. We got into the first class lounge, and damn I want to do this again next year! It was so nice in there. Separate person to check into and everything. The train came, with Tegatus texting me that he's on the train already and waiting for us to get on. So we head for the train, wondering where to go and low and behold we find a furry who works for the Amtrak; well he fixes the radios. And he tells us where to go.
When we get on the train, things are all find and dandy till we think that we should go explore! That's when we run into our first little issue. This one fat dude is like 'You can't be back there if all of you didn't pay for a sleeper car! The ones that didn't will have to go back up to the Coach and ride there.' And we just stood there, probably all thinking 'What shat in your lunch.' But we went back to the room, which is rather nice by the way. If a bit small. And we got a hold of the Assistant Conductor, Duncan. A real amazing man who got us all situated. But, I guess I can't really not say that Sardonis doesn't have a way with words. That Mongrel is very charismatic with people. Though, I think that the Dining Car people hate us.
So, we had dinner around 7pm. The steak was oh god so good. Then we went back to the sleeper and proceeded to watch a movie till Sard fell asleep. And since Tegatus and I have seen the particular movie like a million times before. We fell asleep as well. That was around... nine. And now it's midnight. And I'm awake with Tegatus. And Sardonis is still sleeping. So... I'm at a loss of what to do for the next ten hours of the trip. Here's to hoping that I can think of something!
Well, after watching Avatar for a bit. Sard woke up, and then we just degraded into watching the first Harry Potter since the wolger fell asleep during it. So, we finished that and as we watched more Avatar we had the entertainment of listening to Sardonis take a shower on the train. It was really amusing to be honest. After that, we watched Iron man and then went up to breakfast! Where their french toast was amazingly good!
Then we ended up in San Jose, and got to the hotel. And that ends the train trip.
