One of the things I really miss about working in a home office is having a fully working kitchen RIGHT THERE. The idea of buying lunch supplies for the week and making something ahead? Why would you do that? Make it fresh EVERY DAY. When I first started working at metrocare I went home for lunches, it was nice to egt out of the office and have my alone time. I really didnt have enough time to make food, eat and catnap, but it was still nice. The only thing is that gas added up fast and I was using about double what I normally would week to week (which makes sense). For the same price I could be eating out every day. I sort of tried it this week but because of budgeting issues from the prior week I ran out of funds a little earlier than expected. I also havent really been making dinner so Im going out twice a day which is beyond ridiculous. Right now Im pinteresting what I can do for a solid office lunch that I can make ahead, tastes good, is low calorie, and omfg there is nothing. Ive been googling and I think I may do a throwback to some basic PBJ sandwiches and maybe some fruit or something. It pushes my calories a bit more than I would like for lunch but I'm hoping it will all balance out as the gym :/
