The grass was white with frost in the shade of the pine trees; the rest of the field was green and wet with dew. Fog rolled into the valley, thick and grey. I rotated the dial on the dashboard to the red side as hot air blew out of the vents. I cannot see through my windshield, and a quick turn of the wipers doesn't scrape off the frost. The digital readout on my sexy vehicle flashed ICE. Damn, it was going to be a cold morning. Summer in the Midwest can be like that sometimes (hey, it's still summer).
And now it's hot out. I had to turn the AC on in my car as I drove home.
