Best of Len and Rin

Honestly, you can't separate the twins (Take note that it's not confirmed that they're twins. Some interpret them as mirror images of each other, but the majority of people think of them as twins).

Len and Rin were the second program of the Vocalod2 software and their popularity rivals Miku's. They were released on December 27, ( Read more... )

Aieeeh! It's just one cuteness after another! The interjections! The science (that I didn't quite get)! And--And--cats! *squee*

"Gemini"--I should have seen that one coming. The song has this constant rhythm that keeps going on and on--if there were no lyrics I'd just think that the entire song was a really short one made to loop.:/ But it's pretty nice and all feel-good, which I don't mind. Very relaxing.

Spice! gave me the nosebleeds. O///O Len! Little Len--how?--how!--hot--! Just...dammit. >////<

Ooh, Trick and Treat! I love this one--it's upbeat and creepy--an interesting combination. I've even watched the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! version (despite being barely familiar with it). When I heard that I had to find a Gakupo and Kaito version too~ Man, I love this song. =¬=

Actually, I tried listening to Fear Garden before, but I was put off by the...lack of singing. Rin seems to just chant all throughout, and while I appreciate the trademark creepy Vocaloid video, I want the song to work for it too. Well, of course the song works, but it's still disappointing. That is, until Gakupo appears the bit where Miku's finger falls off. Ohohoho~ Now that was cool!

Ooh, Meltdown I have heard. I like it because it sounds like an action scene (kinda like Luka and Gakupo's Rhapsody of Loup-Garous). Hmm, I think there were a few Hetalia vids with this song. Anywho, it's definitely one of Rin's best!

The first time I watched Cat Ears Switch I was like, "Was that a quantum physics reference? Nah... Couldn't be..." As I listen to it again, I realized it was and my inner nerd squeed. XD

Gemini is one of those background songs. I prefer Rockleetist's English cover of it. She altered some of the beats (through syncopation), so it's not so repetitive.

I know! Len isn't supposed to be that hot! >//< Every PV I see of the song, Len is just... >/////<

Trick and Treat is my Halloween song. It's so creepy. XD

You have a thing for Gakupo, eh? XD I mainly like the video, especially when Rin snaps and starts killing people. XD

Meltdown is easily one of Rin's best and most well known songs. I heard Yoppei's dub of it and I cannot get it out of my mind, especially since he sounds (And sings) so much like Prussia's VA. XDD

:D You're into quantum physics? I only know of it in passing, because I'm too lazy to read busy learning about art and junk. Otherwise, I'm pretty interested in it as well. (Although Schrodinger's Cat still confuses me. :/)

Why yes I lovelove Gakupo lots. But Kiyoteru is fast becoming my favorite guy.

Rockleetist has such a lovely voice! The rap bit threw me off, but it was a cool twist. And the Yoppei dub...

o_o

Just.

Prussia singing while drunk can't compare.|D

Mii-chan had better cover this song.

It's not really a set criteria, per se, but I've always loved Vocaloid vids with stories in them. Especially a series (which the Kagamines do so well), like Synchronicity and Daughter of Evil. Project Zero has great songs, no doubt, but the narrative is handled poorly. Synchronicity could give a better story in two minutes than all seven Project Zero vids combined. Not to say that Project Zero is bad though--I like it, and a series of music vids don't need to have a good narrative, but I thought it could be better.:/ I like #0 and #5 the best, though.

I study very strange stuff for fun. XD

Rockleetist is one of my favorite dubbers. I love her translations as well.

Yoppei's version of Meltdown has got suck in my head. I keep wanted to sing the parts he added. XDD

There's a lot more to the Project Zero story, but the entire story is in Japanese. "orz
